I further modified Elgaz's work so that Batman's costume looks a bit more comic-bookish (notice the light grey and the longer ears). I eventually decided to go for a smoke-bomb look for Batman in the Background, and brightened up Clark's costume. I like how much of a painting it looks.

That manip is really well done, however it fits better Batman than Superman. Superman should inspire "brighter" feelings. But overall very well done.

Consider this: It's not always sunny with blue sky's in Metropolis in the real world and this man of steel is set in that world. Plus Superman's not going to be happy and smiling while he is about to kick a villain's ass... not even in the comics... I'd say it fits Supes just fine.

It inspires me to brave the elements and stand up and fight through the tough times. The sun shines after the storm.

I agree. But it's not very traditional. If that was a true teaser image for the film, I would have gotten worried. So far, the impression I have for the film is great.

Do you have any idea what it takes to do that? its gonna be hours and hours in photoshop, after effects and maybe 3D studio max. The manip I made took me about an hour. Although it is very fun, I have other stuff to do aswell, so sorry I've had to dissapoint you.

I'm far from disappointed man...it looks great! I'm just saying if you have to to add more animation to it that would be great...no rush

If the rain and lightning wasnt on the original photo it wouldn't take very long to do as a smaller size gif in photoshop alone

Could anyone please manip the colors of Cavill's suit so it resembles the black "Reign of the Supermen" costume? The design seems just perfect for that IMO.
