Well apparently the image that everyone was raving about, having thought to be a complete manip, where it had Cavil posing as Superman with his fist on the ground, may have in fact been more real and official than originally believed since Warner Bros. sent out letters telling every site that was hosting it as a product of fan creation to take it down.

That is a great image. They should have released that as an official poster instead of the one with Supes in shadow surrounded by soldiers.

Yeah his other work that he had posted on his deviant art page was nowhere near as good as the image he tried to pass off as his own.

I was going to bring that up a couple of days ago myself. That's the first thing that caught my eye about it supposedly being a manip. His other stuff just didn't seem anywhere near as good. Of course, then I started looking at the image and while I thought it was great, it seemed off in places, so I kind of started assuming that maybe it was fan-made. That and I didn't want to sound like an ass questioning him about it while bringing that up, but I guess I wouldn't have felt so bad knowing what we know now.

I think he may have edited some of and then tried to pass the entire photo off as his own...not cool

Oh, I probably spent twenty minutes or so looking at all images of the suit trying to find angles that matched up to the various bits and pieces.

Looking at these pictures together, I can not freakin' WAIT to see this confrontation on the big screen. Russell Crowe looks like an inspired choice, and you can just picture the scene, Jor-El growling at Zod as he banishes him to the Phantom Zone.

I really hope the padding isn't too apparent/distracting throughout the movie. It actually bothered me about SR.

As well as the padding, I hope the suit doesn't appear too stiff or rigid, and moves well with Cavill's movements. It's really hard to tell how thick or thin the material is.

And as for the fan-made-pic-which-turned-out-to-be-official, it makes me wonder where the guy got hold of the photo. Was it out there accidently on some website and he happened to come across it? For instance, every so often I go on the official site and a few of the ones in other languages to see if anything pops up before its supposed to.

im realy hoping that the superman symbol around his neck is in fact his nano suit. that would be so sweet to see it materialise.
