Looks like George Reeves and Dean Cain to me lol.
Well that would be the thesbian in Reeve. I'm not entirely surprised. He came off like the type of guy that liked a challenge and wanted to see if he could portray as many characters as possible. I mean Supes and Clark were total opposites really. I'm sure it was fun for him. I wouldn't be surprised if he portrayed more characters they haven't mentioned or that we don't know about in STMI&II

It's funny but to me Brandon Routh looked more like Superman outside of SR than he did in the film lol.

Acting abilities aside, of all the actors Cavill embodies Superman physically to me. Half the reason he was my main choice all those years.

I dont think George Reeves or Cain look anything like Superman. And Cavill looks every bit like Superman. I mean, the face is ripped from the very pages from Byrne and those eyes are the kindest and most present in that bunch followed by Chris Reeve.
Of course, George Reeves is from a diferent time when Supes looked more oldschool, but still.

I never really thought George looked like Supes either, but as you said he does have that more oldschool vibe/look to him that is reminiscent of the Superman serials and cartoons from back in the day. Cain looks more like a Superboy representation than Superman IMO. However, like Routh he looked more like Superman off the screen at times to me IMO. I like Cavill's look for Superman, but Reeve will always look and be the definitive Supes for me. Yeah he was on the skinnier side, but he just had the look, and persona down. You couldn't cast a better Superman during that time. His look was so on point that it could translate to the comics and still look like Supes.

Could you do the fuse again, only with just using Reeve and Cavill?

I'm no expert but you may wanna try increasing the opacity of Reeve's picture to balance the look =)

I find this art very interesting. It's sort of a way to "realize" superman with a face no real human actor really has. Edit: Also wanted to add, that this face look so perfect for Superman, that it is almost shocking. Like the guy stepped into reality right off John Byrne's pages. A total waste of natural resource I guess when the story is so un-supermanish together with poor character modeling.
