Eh they're just trying to deflect some of the scrutiny headed towards them. Dont blame em. As long as the Govt doesnt f**k with my guns or my games, we can coexist. They can do whatever the hell else they want(raise taxes, spy on its people, cover up terrorist attacks etc), but they mess with those two, then im gonna have a problem.

So,uh, yeah, I just started playing White Knight Chronicles for the PS3 before I delve into the sequel because that's what was recommended I do to get acclimated to the various game mechanics because the sequel gives you nothing. Is there anyone else that plays this game too who wants to help me online?

If you're talking about playing through the story of 1 though, yeah, I recommend it, or the second part won't make any sense. Especially considering you'll not have gained all of the materials you need for building good armor and weapons. Plus, you don't get your own Knight for your made up character until you beat the storyline. Though Online is where the game really shines. Get strapped in though, the first game is 30-60 hours depending on how you play it, and part 2 is around that too. So 60 to over 100 hours to get through the whole thing. Which to me was worth it, as the online portion was addicting (though the population died out a bit by the time I got around to it). As for helping you, with what? I played it for a bit, but if you really need the help, and can't find it on other players servers, I guess I could run you through a few quests at some point this week. Though usually if you go to the servers that say "noobies welcome" or whatever, you can find help pretty easily.

Well, as far as online goes, I'm fairly new at this. Skyrim isn't quite a game that has an online server and online for Monster Hunter is quite different than for MMOs.

I guess I could help out too. I haven't played it in a while though. Totally have no clue how everything works anymore. Though I guess I'd still be able to waste some monsters.

Well, PSN is FadingX. Probably won't be today, or until later tomorrow, but when we're on at the same time I'll help. If Nathan gets to you first that's fine. Also, I play it so infrequently I created a guild for myself. I can invite you if you want, it's low rank, but being in a guild let's you collect gems to purchase items.
As for how online works, you just log into geonet. Join a server (Newbies welcome are good ones usually). Once in talk to the guard, and either join someone else's quest (if it's not already started), or start a quest yourself for others to join. There are level, and GR level restrictions on various quests though.

Holy... Maybe it's just me but I totally forgot about Castlevania BoS 2 coming out at the end of the month.
Edit: Curse you GameStop.com! They had the wrong release date on the game. Last edited by Benstamania; 12-27-2012 at 10:55 AM. |

Nice! I'm kinda upset because all I got for Christmas was a Gamestop gift card worth $65. I never shop there because I know I can find better deals on games at places like Amazon, plus with so many good games that I know I can't buy right away, I prefer renting games instead.
I think I'm going to sell it to a friend of mine for cash, unless I see them put out some great deals soon.

Anyone played the Splinter Cell games for the 360? I'm thinking of getting both double agent and conviction for $20. How are they?

Double agent wasn't the best of the series game play wise.(depends on how you like to play but it turned alot of people off especially new people to the series ) but if you want a complete set for the story then yeah add it. conviction was cool from my take of it. It was one of the first I played and I got into the others that came prior.

I guess with the current landscape of games where the most popular series tend to be more shoot em' up games, I've been getting more and more into more stealthy games.

That's a good thing it mean you want more instead of to just shoot every thing. veriety is a good thing. especially in spy games or super hero titles like spidey or xmen. too bad half of the industry hasn't fully caught on to this in the proper way.

the industry goes to where the money is at and nothing sells as well as CoD. Its no surprise many would try to emulate that by featuring similar elements in their titles
