Washington hosting Seattle next week. This is gonna be fun.

Washington better use a bunch of 2-TE sets. They're gonna need it, or RG3 could be done by the second quarter.

The sad part is, Dan Patrick is one of the best in the business. But all that NBC lets him do is moderate two guys who are about as charismatic as blocks of wood.

Stop the press. Dan Patrick is highly regarded? I guess it's just me, but I can't stand the man. He seems overly smug, even for someone in his position. I think the only times I agreed with him is when he called out ESPN for hyping Tim Tebow and Jimmer Fredette, only to have Colin Cowherd and Rick Reilly go near postal on one or both.

Jason LaCanfora on the NFL Today on CBS had a list of head coaching candidates, none was Jon Gruden, although his brother, Jay was mentioned.

When it comes to the art of the late season collapse, no one does it better than Tony Romo.

Well Jackson got his 8th. 1,000 yard season and 10,000 yard this season and the Rams have a losing record again. The team looks better but a winning record was NEEDED this year. How bout that RamsD eh, 50 sacks?!?!?

I'm not going to lie. For a second, when Dallas got the ball with three minutes left, I was thinking "Whoa, Romo is about to have the breakthrough of his career." Then he threw the interception and I was like "Eh, textbook Romo. F***ing up at the last minute when it matters the most." No lie, when he took his helmet off and looked like he was about to cry, I genuinely felt bad for him.

I honestly said the same thing. I truly thought Romo had turned a corner but shame on me for believing that.

That last drive should have been his moment [career defining], and he blew it.

Bradford needs a #1 receiver badly.

I second this IF RG3 can outclass Seattle which won't be easy since he hasn't been 100 percent.

Yeah, seriously. Somehow I KNEW that he'd throw a pick on that drive. It just seemed like the most poetic way it could have ended.

Also, some ideas for the new thread title:

Be Prepared for Russell Wilson's Preparedness!
Playoffs: Where Peytons Go to Choke
Playoffs & Other Things to Ponder
Your Guide to Mild Card Weekend
The Redemption of Dan Snyder?
No Playoffs? That's So Romo!

Yeah but Seattle has been up and down throughout most of the season. I know they looked impressive pounding the crap out of some teams lately, but they fell back down to earth today, barely edging out a bad Rams team. I think Washington can beat them.

Yeah. He's really lucky the Skins weren't able to do anything with those first two picks he threw, or else it would have probably been a blowout win.
