I kept putting it off because I planned on eventually trying the comic and didn't want to ruin anything. Then the friend who's house we're going over was talking about wanting to try it and I figured, "what the heck?" We were hooked and fortunately my brother has the first two seasons on DVD so we've been watching them. The show's addicting.

I mean, I have non-comic book/non-zombie/non-horror friends LOVING the show so I figured it was worth a shot. Now I'm loving it. I plan on getting caught up with the show and then start buying the comic series in trade. It's fantastic.

It's good to know children deserve trsuts given to them
That face was to express my momentary reaction thinking "kids have kids?" instead of thinking "your children and your neighbors children"

Considering I don't drink, and I've never been to a Con, I may beat you on the akwardometer.

I try watching it but there's just nohting happening at the farm house and I find it really hard to watch one after the other. It's a good show, but I just find it hard to marathon watch, unlike say, Glee...

I've never drank myself, never had any desire to.

I've also never been to a Con but they're having one in Cincinnati this year and some friends of mine are interested in giving it a shot. It's wierd because I'm the only comic book fan among us and I'm the only one questioning going. I might though. I'm a bit of a home body. I hate going places.

We're only 6 episodes into the 2nd season but we're having no problem with marathon watching. I hated stopping there last night but my wife had to be up at 5am this morning.

And I loved Glee for a long time before just getting bored of it. I stopped watching it sometime last season and just never cared to come back to it. I told my wife long before we stopped watching that I was only sticking with it for the performances. The stories had gotten really boring for me by then. I finally came to the conclusion that if I wanted to watch something based on the performances I'd watch the competition reality shows. I missed last season's So You Think You Can Dance but I'm eager for that to come back on. I love watching people dance.

I'd never gone to a con until last year and after that I was like "man, I need to go to more of these things!" I mean this year I dance Gangnam Style with the guy thats writing the current Iron Man comic whose name escapes me. I got to talk to Mark Waid about ****** brittish 60's TV. I met some awesome people at cons. I now also get to use employee discount at my local bookstore cause they like me that much cause I keep meeting the guys who work there at cons. You should totally go!

Really? 'Cause I found the Walking Dead easier to watch in a marathon. It goes kinda slow so having to wait a week in between just made it harder fer me.

I'd be cool with that. I already have my "chased by a lion" story so I'd like a "we set fire to this bar..." story. It's up to Hawkingbird.

I dunno, I just find it really hard to just sit and constantly watch these terrible things happen to everyone.

I watched the first two series of Glee cause the girl I was hanging with at the time watched it. But then I gave up. But about a month ago I was told it was really good in series 3 and I downloaded it and just watched it over two days. I think the plots are utterly insanely laughable, but thats the best part, to so stupid.

It wasn't the laughable plots (because let's be honest... grilled Cheesus cracked me up) but rather how they'd learn a lesson every episode and the forget the lesson by the next episode. It got old.

Yeh, I can see how that would get annoying sometimes. I just didn't really notice that. I'm a few episodes into series 4 and I'm really not enjoying the fact they've kept up with characters who have left the school. I liked the fact that they left and they still a story but we wouldn't see it. Now it's muddled and confused.

Well, my first act of 2013 was one of destruction, stupidity and pain. Went to put my hands behind my head and threw my Dr Who toys onto my face...

Can't be as bad as that guy who had his prized comics out on the table, lit a candle and walked out of the room on a windy day. Said they all caught fire or were all waxed up at least.

Yeah, after knocking them all down once like that you should probably find another place to keep them.

1) Take a break
2) Find out what is pulling you out of it
3) Try to find the love you once had for the project, is it still there?
4) Work on something else
5) Find sources that inspired to start this endeavor to get back in the groove
