i see nothing at CBM or anywhere else. unless youre talking about the Michael Rosenbaum "reading", which has already been confirmed as a (rather cruel) practical joke.

It's not up yet, but I'll post it here when it is. If you check the Twitter timeline of the person who posts it, you should get an idea of how the info was acquired.

Isaiah Mustafa, Brian Patrick Wade and former WWE Superstar Dave Bautista are considered for Drax the Destroyer, while Marvel is “still high on” John Krasinski for Star-Lord.

Kevin told reporters he was up for a number of superhero roles. Gunn informed the editor that just posted that info about his Agent's info. Still take it lightly, but interesting choices.

The Krasinski thing HAS to be a joke, referencing the buttrage over him possibly being Cap.

Glad you guys aren't getting drastically over-dramatic about Krasinski's name being tossed around or anything...

John Krasinski for Drax
![]() In all fairness, any of the three "actors" named would be fine for Drax. Drax doesn't need a thespian; Drax just needs a bad-ass with a hard body for the role, and all three listed fit that bill.

you couldnt be more wrong. and at this point i have faith that Marvel knows better. whoever they choose will be a proven talent, not a "hard body" (shudder).

I just started reading GOTG and Drax is more than Muscle. I'm not saying a wrestler or bodybuilder CANT play the role.

I definitely think you need an actor with physicality and gravitas. Damn, but MCD would've been a good choice...
Laurence Fishburne, perhaps? Though he might be a little short. I'd rather an actor who could fill up a room with his talent than his physique, so I'd go with someone like Fishburne.

What GOTG did you guys read.....???
Jason Statham is pretty much the extent of the "sophistication" required to play Drax the Destroyer. Fishburne....? C'mon, this isn't Shakespeare.

Yeah u don't need a very talented actor to pull off Drax but i would like an actual actor to play him. I mean Dave Batista? i mean there's gotta be better options out there. Kevin Durand would be pretty sweet. Hell, Terry Crews could pull Drax off.
