Kevin told reporters he was up for a number of superhero roles. Gunn informed the editor that just posted that info about his Agent's info. Still take it lightly, but interesting choices.

Haha I know but all of these guys are the level of actor who would have gone in for a single audition for this type of movie, and then their agent would whore that info around, trying to get people talking about them and leveraging other, smaller roles in other smaller, stuff.

I don't doubt that any of these guys auditioned, I'd severely doubt that any of them would have made it past a first round

John Krasinski for Drax

In all fairness, any of the three "actors" named would be fine for Drax. Drax doesn't need a thespian; Drax just needs a bad-ass with a hard body for the role, and all three listed fit that bill.

I just started reading GOTG and Drax is more than Muscle. I'm not saying a wrestler or bodybuilder CANT play the role.

I definitely think you need an actor with physicality and gravitas. Damn, but MCD would've been a good choice...

Laurence Fishburne, perhaps? Though he might be a little short. I'd rather an actor who could fill up a room with his talent than his physique, so I'd go with someone like Fishburne.

Yeah u don't need a very talented actor to pull off Drax but i would like an actual actor to play him. I mean Dave Batista? i mean there's gotta be better options out there. Kevin Durand would be pretty sweet. Hell, Terry Crews could pull Drax off.
