I think the child scenes will actually play a part of flashbacks when he's in Alaska much like they did in Batman Begins

Wow that's a big evolution... Man of Steel logo is like the biggest change

I wouldn't say it is the biggest change at all. Look at some of the shifts between logos in there. 1938-1941 is all over the place.

I think a lot of those can be chalked up to inconsistent art and coloring (for the earlier ones) or artistic license (for the later ones).

Every artist is trying to create his or her own take on a character when they first start on a book, especially with such a high-profile character like Supes. So they make one line straighter than another one, or change the width of the S. But that doesn't mean that the logo ever actually changes.

So if you throw out the crappy TV "adaptations" like Smallville's Mark of El, the intentionally temporary electric Supes, and Else-Worlds Kingdom Come logos...it's actually changed only 2 or 3 times.

MOS is a nice blend of classic, Kingdom Come, and the early 40's...

They really did. I'm so glad the symbol covers his whole chest. And yes i do agree it has elements of Kingdom and a bit of the 40's

That could be a pretty good week for MOS stuff because the Superbowl is on Sunday, February 3rd and then the New York Toy Fair kicks off the following weekend with Mattel, Sideshow/Hot Toys, DC Collectibles, Square Enix etc all attending and each have the MOS license.
I know WB has bowed out in the past, but it makes so much sense in the world for them to have an MOS Superbowl Spot.

2) Lindsay Lohan is Lana Lang
3) Jon Hamm was a done deal as Jor-El
4) Chris Meloni is definitely Lex Luthor
5) Set pics of Chris Meloni as Lex Luthor (they were manips)
6) Lex Luthor defeats the Kryptonians with Kryptonite shoving them through the Phantom Zone projector.
7) Lex Luthor will have a lot of interaction with Zod.
8) Krypton will feel "contemporary".

The Dark Knight Rises exclusive scoops:

1) Gordon is hospitalised because he tries to save the city from Bane alone.
2) There is no Robin at all.
3) Bane has an earthquake causing device.
4) Gordon is injured because Bane burns down a Police building.
5) Bane's first scene in Gotham is arriving on a boat killing people.
6) Bruce fights police officers in the hospital.
7) Bane lures Batman toward him. Catwoman arrives later, beats up thugs, rescues Batman (sewer fight).
8) The Pit is the new League HQ which is how Bruce "retrains".

Honestly, we get more accurate exclusives here on the Hype (from posters like Gillberg who is actually a WB insider) than CBN does. The only news they actually report is broken by other sites. Anything that they break themselves is going to be a fanfiction.
I can't understand how anybody pays attention to that site, being wrong is one thing, but making things up is another.

Yeah, they didn't do one for TDKR did they? I can't recall them doing one for The Dark Knight but I remember when the Batman Begins one aired.

Just a few weeks to go before we know for sure I guess!

Avengers' hype didn't really go into overdrive until the Superbowl TV spot. Until then it was tepid optimism. They poured all the money shots they could possibly muster in the one minute time frame and effectively exploded twitters and facebooks with nothing but talk of how awesome the Avengers looked. MOS needs to do the same. The good thing is that its first trailer has an air of far more optimism to it than The Avengers' first trailer did imo. They need to maintain that momentum and unleash every money shot Snyder has composed (that only he can) and blow the brains off the unsuspecting Superbowl audience. WB can subsequently start an even bigger firestorm in Twitter and Facebook than even Marvel did.
