I'm surprised no one mentioned Mark Paul-Gosselaar for Superman before Cavill was cast for Supes.

I'm sure he was at some point. Practically every young, male, brunette actor in Hollywood had his name mentioned in the casting threads.

I don't see it. Cavill looks great from many angles. In fact I bet when we see a smiling shot of Cavill as Supes, people will be like "wow that is Superman!"

I wasn't really suggesting him. After all the crazy fan suggestions we got in superhero casting threads, I would be surprised if he wasn't mentioned in some shape or form.

I love that guy Franklin & Bash is such a great show but I don't k is if I could've accepted him as Superman. Thinking actually he'd be a good choice for Hal Jordan.

I'm glad it never was. I could NEVER live with the thought of this guy playing Supes. So grateful Cavill was the chosen one.

At first glance (quickly mind you) the first one looks like he has a runny nose. lol Too bad that big ass A is smack square in the middle of his face.

But the second picture is very much Superman to me. Strength, confidence, a hint of a smile, there's alot that can be taken from that one picture that reads Superman right off the pages.
