Also, can NPH even do action/fighting and be believable lol? I mean I'm all for him being Flash, but I think him doing the voice and also not having any action films/dramas under his belt recently might hurt his chances. He sort of has the look, but needs to bulk up IMO.

Nice suggestions. I like Josh Dallas mentioned for the Flash. Also, I would rather Gabriel Macht be utilized for someone better than Guy Gardner unless they do an overhaul on his character.

Okay, no more mention of Josh Hartnett either lol. I want people to start getting creative. Richard Armitage wouldn't be my first choice, but after seeing the Hobbit I could see how he could be Batman. However, his nose and face shape is interesting, very English/European IMO, but that might be a plus when in the cowl.

I agree though that Idris and Djimon are constantly mentioned and frankly it's annoying. You took the words right out of my mouth. They aren't the only blacks in Hollywood.

Personally I think Malik Yoba, Omar Epps, Richard T. Jones or my top choice (at the moment) Lamman Rucker would make a good GL. However, there are many many black actors that could fit the bill. All depends on how you want the character to be and which actor can portray that the best. As long as they don't make John Stewart some Chris Tucker or Eddie Murphy knock off then I'm fine lol. In other words a serious take on him and not a caricature. However, I doubt he will be in JL film if they use Cyborg.

Are you saying that casting for a black lead is like finding the holy grail if not using Idris or Djimon or that a good cast in general is hard to find without using the characters I mentioned that are constantly mentioned?

I don't know, that would be a part of pre-production. He doesn't need to get massively big, he has a runner's physique and if doing a voice excludes you from doing the character live action that's stupid because WB have lost their best Gordon too (Bryan Cranston).

Oh... I think I forgot about him completely but Logan Marshall Green was my second choice for Hal Jordan behind Ryan Reynolds! So, I'm gonna scrap Duhamel for Green.

Batman/Bruce Wayne-Colin Farrell (5'11)


I might as go out on a limbwith this, but figured I would go with somebody out of the blue besides the ones that's been mentioned a lot like Evans, Fassbender, Urban, Hamm, etc. He's not my favorite choice, but I think he could actually surprise people on his take of the character. He already got the looks down as he's good at playing dark roles.


Wonder Woman/Diana Prince-Alexander Daddario (5'8)


I really had to sit back and think who would be better, either her or Jessica Biel. I know many people would say she has very soft features, but I think she would make a good Wonder Woman. She already got the looks down, the right height, the eyes, and very decent physique.


Green Lantern/Hal Jordan-Alex O’Loughlin (6'1)


I thought about him as Batman first, but then I had to think outside the box. Nothing against Ryan Reynolds (I know, the movie was terrible), but I think Alex would do an interesting take on Hal more than he did in the movie. He makes a very good performance on Hawaii Five O and he could actually make Hal Jordan more of a mixture of Maverick from Top Gun and Paul Newman from Cool Hand Luke.


The Flash/Barry Allen-Justin Timberlake (6'1)


I remember someone mentioning about Justin Timberlake a while back and I thought that would be a very inspiring, yet interesting choice to go with. I mean he could actually do wonders on his take of the Flash. He's a very versatile actor as he can handle doing action and comedy.


Aquaman/Arthur Curry-Jai Courtney (6'1)

Great actor, especially on Season One of Spartacus, and he has a very Atlantean-like appearance to him.


Martian Manhunter-CGI/Jeff Goldblum (6'4)

Something made me thought about him fitting into this role. He has the voice, towering height, and well-known for playing intellectual characters in previous films. Either him or Dennis Haysbert would be good choices.


Green Lantern (if John Stewart)-Nate Parker (5'9)

I know many people want Idris Elba for the role, but I think Nate Parker would be a better choice. He somewhat reminds me of a young Denzel Washington from A Soldier's Story.

Did I say perfect? No, I said good. I do believe posters on here are capable of a good casting, I've just barely seen it as so many of them have big weak links.

No I'm not hating on the actors, but seriously don't understand the mindset for the majority of them, minus Blunt, Gyllenhaal, and Zegers.

I'm really not a fan of Epps to be honest, but I would take him over Elba and Hounsou honestly.
However I do prefer Cyborg>Jon Stewart, but if Jon were to be used, I'd be interested if any of the above were to read for the role.

Hell no and hell no. Smith really doesn't have that stern gravitas necessary for Jon; even in his most dramatic performances, he's still a 'light' energy guy. And it's bad enough I gotta deal with Foxx in ASM2, don't need him bringing down a JL movie.

Entirely agreed. I didn't care about the distaste I read when I suggested him in the role.

While I don't think Ryan Reynolds should be recast, I'm not against it. I've noticed on these boards that O'Loughlin gets a lot of random hate out of nowhere; I personally don't get it. I'm not saying he's the greatest actor ever, but in what I've seen him in, he's a fine actor who can probably do better with a better script.

I can kind of see it but I also don't see it. It's very half and half.
While I like Haysbert, he's really way too old for the role.

When I said "perfect" I meant it in the sense that there are no universally accepted choices. You and me may like someone who'd be a big no for a third person! A good casting for any particular person would mostly be the one he himself thinks of!

Colin Farrell, to me, is like Robert Pattison on steroids! He's just too metrosexual for Bruce Wayne!
