You are right. A "perfect" woman would be perfect in every way. Have you ever seen a perfect woman? Is there any one or maybe multiple women in your life perfect?

It's still subjective. WW is perfection as far as the perfect embodiment of women.....however her looks are still subjective.

OMG you guys are really just splitting hairs. Who cares. Batman is the perfect billionaire playboy in the DC world. Superman is the perfect Superhero specimen. WW is the embodiment of female perfection as she was created by the gods. However, their looks are still subjective whether they are perfect are not.

Also, I think there is a difference between being facially perfect and being the most gorgeous woman in the world. Being perfect means having symmetry, perfect skin, no flaws etc. etc. One could argue that many models are the standard for perfection, especially the amazonian models of the 80s & 90s. However, that does not mean that they are the most beautiful woman in the world, ironically. Many actresses would not fit the "model" standard, but have been voted the most beautiful woman in the world by magazines etc.

It's all subjective and this whole convo is ridiculous if you ask me. WW just needs to be attractive, pretty, sexy, classy but still rough around the edges as she is a warrior and not familiar with human customs, and most importantly tough!

Would I be wrong in thinking that there's probably a disconnect in how people want Wonder Woman portrayed? Say like a younger, fresh off the boat, sort of naive WW vs. a tougher, more world savvy warrior-like one?

This disconnect is pretty common in comic book movies. Since most of us aren't 72 years old, we're used to seeing a lot of characters (both DC and Marvel) in a more mature, assured itineration. We basically get into comic books where the character has already been Wonder Woman, or Superman, or Batman for 8-10 years.

Most comic book movies, however, are origins/ represent a younger version of the hero. That's why you'll always see people fancasting John Hamm as Superman, or Brad Pitt as Captain America. Fans want to see the version of the character they grew up on, and go for older casting.

My goal with fan casting is generally to find someone who is roughly a character's origins age in the first movie, and their modern age by the third. Christian Bale, who was 30 during the filming of Batman Begins, and 37 during TDKR, was a perfect example.

Wonder Woman is best known for her more mature, take charge portrayal, but imo, that needs to be something she grows into over the course of the film series, or else the character reminds very static and kind of boring. That's why I personally believe we need a younger Wonder Woman to kick off the franchise, who can grow into the Wonder Woman we all know and love.

So saw a pic with henry cavill standing next to gina carano...i wouldn't be against her getting the role. Not my first, third, fifth, or even tenth choice, but i wouldn't be opposed.

Also, Luke Evans and Gina Carano are in fast 6. I think this movie will better showcase their acting and action talents. Everything I have seen of Evans has either been a period piece or him playing this non-contemporary characters.

If you're choice of looks for WW is Irina Sheiyk, then the actress close to her features would be Olga Kurylenko!

Wouldn't mind her being chosen!

I think they both come from the same part of the world. And I think she was also a model (lingerie) at some point in her career so we know she has the figure for it.

Again, she does not look like the image of WW portrayed in the comics, but with Perry White being played by Laurence Fishburne and Jimmy might now be Jenny. Whatever goes right?

I was just watching 'Quantum of Solace' last night and I kept thinking 'She's really good! How come I didn't notice that the first time I watched this movie?'

Apart from her performance in general, I couldn't help but notice she did a decent Spanish accent too! I gotta say she's come along really well.

She gets my vote!

I liked Lynn in John Carter, but there is something about her look that I don't necessarily like for WW. I don't know what it is. I wouldn't be opposed to her getting the part, but she isn't in my top 5 or 10. I think it's her nose or something. In some photos I've seen it looks red/pink and different from the rest of her skin tone lol. Weird I know.
