How does Timberlake keep getting work? No to him 1000 times. Amber is a great choice however and Bomer also.

I know in some instances a bodytype can be changed a bit. But im a fan of trueblood (I know I know) But Skarsgaard (sp) (Im lazy I know) is too lanky to play aquaman on film. He looked akward as a soldier in Battleship. Imagine him in spandex. Thats why i picked Ritchson as Flash. He has comedic timing. Well see if he can do action in HG2. And he has the athletic build to fill out and not look feminine in a all red latex suit. I dont think the same about gosling or Timberlake. What do you think?

Well, Gosling's pretty much politely said no in a recent interview. Seeing as how the only open spot is the Flash, and he's not really enthusiastic about it.
I know Skarsgard seems lanky, but he's been all beefed up in previous parts he's played. ![]() Timberlake's not my first pick for anything, but was suggested by someone else a while back. I thought it was a good outside the box suggestion.

No doubt about it!
But today, we wouldn't want everyone else in the Justice League (including Wonder Woman) towering over a 5'9" Batman (I'm talking about Somerhalder).

yeah there was a big conversation about camera tricks and RDJ boots and such. Plus the cowl with the ears and such would make him appear taller. ANd i imagine wonder woman being as tall if not taller i think. And i think superman for the first time should hover all the time
What do you think?

I agree, but I suggested Bomer for the same reason.
The guy's got a similar look to Somerhalder, is almost 6' and a much better actor IMO.

And Bomer would be good as long as Batman neeeeevvveerrrrr smiled. I know its petty but his smile makes him not look the part. Is that wierd?

I get you completely, and I just suggested him as an alternative to Somerhalder coz they have a similar look.
But on the other hand, someone else on these boards suggested that Bruce Wayne should come off as an effete metrosexual party boy in public. I thought that was a great take on the 'Public Bruce' side of the character, and IMO Bomer should be able to play all three sides of that character with no problems. My first choice however is Gyllenhaal.

Evan Peters as Wally would be cool. They could get a younger set of eyes and someone who will be more acceseble to the target demo of the film.

I don't think Ian Somerhalder has the ability to spearhead a franchise. Especially Batman after Bale.
I did see a cast for a Batman TV Series where he played Nightwing and I thought that could be awesome.

Its wierd I'm a huge Batman fan but i dont see him as the lead character. I see his character similar to the animated Justice League movies. Reluctant to be there. More consumed with his own vengeance and his own enemies and city. And i saw Ian paly a part on youtube where he was torturing MCD. I wasnt familiar with the movie but he was pretty intense. I guess i pick the people i pick because the JL will probably be people doing roles we havent seen from them before so we can really believe it. WHich is why i cant see Gemma being chosen for WW. Or Urban for Bats.

Forgetting Justice League for a second, could you see him being able to portray Bruce Wayne and Batman as successfully as Christian Bale did in a solo franchise? Or even as well as Henry Cavill appears to be with Clark Kent and Superman?
To me he just doesn't have the right air about him, I don't see him as truly authoritative as Batman should be.

I've always liked the idea of Somerhalder playing Batman. He already did (sort of) and nailed it until the Smallville writers were forced to take the character in a stupid direction. I think he could spearhead a new Batman franchise after a JL movie, once the character is established. But to try and do so beforehand would be tough for any actor not named Christian Bale.

Bale's a tough act to follow, no doubt. But there are at least a half dozen actors who could do a better job than Somerhalder.
