New Year,New Tourny,as you may recall Justice League/Unlimited won the 3rd annual Tournament. It joins Batman The animated series and Cowboy Bebopin the SHH! Animation Hall of Fame.
![]() ![]() ![]() All 3 shows Shows are now retired. Last Tournaments thread http://forums.superherohype.com/show...php?p=24290963 With this new thread I've decided on a new idea let us rank IGN's 100 animated series list. http://tv.ign.com/top-100-animated-tv-series/ Now here's the thing I really want to keep it strictly animated TV series so I eliminated the Theatrical Shorts. (Looney Tunes,Tom and Jerry ,Popeye, and Mighty Mouse,Pink Panther,Woody Woodpecker,SchoolHouse Rock)Then you take out all 3 hall of famers and you have 10 empty spaces. So I'm gonna let us decide the final 10 spaces.for your guidance here's IGN's list these shows are already in. 1. Forgive me, I'm not sure I follow completely. Do we have to pick ten from the list above, or can we include others that aren't on it? (Archer, for example)

You choose 10 that aren't on the list that should make it alongside these shows.I'm sorry I should have been clearer.

The Pink Panther started out as a character in several animated film title sequences and moved from there to a series of theatrical shorts. You probably should disallow The Pink Panther Show from competition based on your own criteria. |

Hey, Jeff ---------- I just noticed that 'The Woody Woodpecker Show' is still in your master list. That show was definitely just a composite of shorts done for theatrical release, and probably should be dropped from contention. |

OK - this list will date me - and I don't hold out much hope of any of these getting another nomination from anyone, much less making the List of 8 (or 9) - but here are the 10 shows not on the list that I remember most fondly: !. Ruff and Reddy 2. Beany and Cecil 3. The Yogi Bear Show 4. The Quick Draw McGraw Show 5. Clutch Cargo 6. Roger Ramjet 7. George of the Jungle 8. King Leonardo and His Short Subjects 9. Frankenstein Jr. and The Impossibles 10. Tales of the Wizard of OZ (Rankin/Bass) |

Sorry to keep playing 'editor' on you, Jeff, but i keep seeing shows in your master list that don't seem to be fair competitors! 'Schoolhouse Rock' was never a show -- it was just a series of interstitial shorts sprinkled throughout Saturday mornings in the 70s. If you were to drop Schoolhouse Rock and The Woody Woodpecker Show from the initial list, you'd have a nice round 10 spots to fill with our nominations. |
