Is the next one expected to be the last story DLC?

I've been spending the month playing all three games. I have to say this series really impresses me with the amount of work put into it. Your actions and choices actually have consequences and even the little things you did in a previous game get referenced in the next one (like if you use Tali as your tech specialist in the Collectors Base in MEII it gets brought up when you free Legion in MEIII, when she complains she got set on fire). There is a ton of replayability in this series, I love it.
My recent run as a renegade female Shep in MEII I was able to max out my renegade points without sacrificing the loyalty of any of my squad mates (and was able to get Tali and Legion to stop bickering with the red renegade dialogue). Mordin still died though. And with this same female Shep, I was able to get my renegade/reputation points high enough to save both of the Quarians and the Geth and keep them on my side in my recent MEIII playthrough and retained both them as war assets, while still allowing the Krogen to be cured and keeping Wrex on my side. MEII has some really fun renegade moments, like roasting that one Krogen on Mordin's loyalty mission, snapping the neck of that merc leader on Maranda's loyalty mission, getting Jacob's dad to shoot himself on his loyalty mission, and telling Harkin that I would've shot him in the balls instead of the leg like Garrus did. All and all, I think MEII might be the most fun to play out of all the games.

How could you forget getting to push the guy out the window on Thane's recruitment mission?

The other option that comes to mind, and only way I see post game DLC working, is if it's the hunt for Shepard. You take the reigns as Liara, and search for signs of Shepard. That would take you back aboard the Citadel. If your Shepard chose control, or synthesis, he's a pile of ash, and you watch a recording of it. If you chose destroy, you find him alive, but severly wounded (or atleast a corpse). The enemies would be the tricky part. I'm guessing Cerberus, or atleast some mutated freaks they created instead of the Reapers. That scenario would cover the tear jerker, and Citadel bases. I still doubt it's post game DLC though.

I'm still crossing my fingers for post game DLC. I hate "mid game" dlc... More so after I've beaten the main campaign.
I'd hope for the crew finding my Shepard Alice (based on my ending) but in a world of hurt... Give me something that hints for ME4 or something for next gen. If not I'll still buy it.. But still. |

No way would they do a DLC where you play as anyone other than Shep. I think post-game DLC is a no-go.
I wouldn't be surprised if it had to do with Joker's family considering they already have that story in there with his sister or whatever where the Reapers attacked their farm and killed everyone. |

Looks like this is from the upcoming MP DLC:
![]() and this is from the SP DLC: ![]() Looks like Shepard and Wrex are in the picture? At the end of the safety railing on the right. Maybe I am just seeing things...

What if Wrex is a squa--- No it won't happen, I can't get my hopes up.
I've heard some people say that's Illium instead of the Citadel. That'd be cool, I always liked Illium & it'd be nice to return there.

Its definitely the Citadel or Illium. It looks a lot, aesthetically speaking, like the Zakera Ward from ME2 to me.
They were voicing Joker lines for this DLC if I am not mistaken, maybe characters from the game will populate the area like a hub. Assuming that is actually Wrex of course. Its an interesting pic in that I really have no idea what it means.

What could this content be about, anyway? There's no pending citadel missions that I caught on my last playthrough (at least, not of the "I'm going to take back Omega...later" variety), and it's not post-game stuff.

If it's Wrex related I'll actually be super stoked. I've been saying forever that's exactly the kind of DLC they should be doing: character focused, Shadow Broker style.
I will say, though, that I hope the ME3 DLC finishes soon so I can do my official "final" play through at long last... |

Reminds me of this concept art from Mass Effect 2:

I'd be fine with character based DLC. The only problem is if it's Wrex based, and you killed him. I can't imagine a Wreave step in would make it worth it to most people. LOTSB worked with Liara since she's the only squadmate that can't die, so everyone had her in their game. My paragon still has Wrex alive though, so I'd be fine with it personally.
My problem is timing. By the time I finish both ME3 runs, after having ran both ME 1&2 twice in a row for paragon and renegade, I might be ME'd out. I'm not sure I'll want to get more DLC after I finish these two runs. If it had been out now during my current run I might have felt different. We'll see though. I guess it depends on if the content is good enough, and at the right price.

Yeah I don't think it would be a Wrex based DLC or a Joker dies scenario.
Wrex has the chance of having been killed in ME 1, so it doesn't make sense to have a DLC based around a character that could have been dead since Mass Effect 1. Joker dying wouldn't make any sense either because he's needed to pilot the ship at the end of the game. It doesn't necessarily need to be someone's death to be a tear jerker, it could be a reminiscing of their past adventures together. |

At the moment having completed all Mass Effects many times I'm still totally not ME'd out & happy to buy as many DLCs as they put out. I kind of wish there was regular episodic content for my favourite games like The Walking Dead so we wouldn't have to wait years between releases once the DLC stops.

How many people actually killed Wrex though? He seems to be one of the most popular characters.

Knowing Bioware Wrex will just show up no matter what you chose in ME1 and be like "Uhh, I'm Wrex, but I'm not the same Wrex...I'm, like, another Wrex..."
Reaper Queen stylez. |

I don't see why if Wrex appears in the DLC he needs to be a major character. Assuming that is a hub or something on the Citadel he could just be loitering about between diplomatic briefings.

That could just be any generic Krogan, I wouldn't assume that's Wrex at all.

I'm will to bet the Krogan in the image is going to be for multiplayer DLC and the 2nd image is for story DLC.
I believe one of the devs said, "Two teaser images for the price of one." So I think he's implying there will be one more multiplayer DLC upgrade and then the last story DLC. (Oh and that's definitely not Wrex in the image. Wrex has been consistently shown with his helmet off, they wouldn't suddenly put a helmet on him out of nowhere.) |

I hope this is the last DLC and it's out soon. I'm nearly finished my insanity playthrough, with the Omega and Leviathan DLC. It'd be nice to get all 3 big packs in one go so I can finish in style :P

BTW, glad I got Javik. I won't use him as much until my Renegade run, but he adds a lot of lore. Plus, he's a dick, but a funny one. I lol'd at him and Wrex talking about the best way to eat Salarian liver.
