I personally feel that Tim Tebow is going to be playing in the NFL next season and it might not be at the quarterback position.

I remember when my brother used to tell me when he was in college that he has a geologically long wind-up to his throw...and I thought he was exaggerating. Then I actually saw him...and it was like "Holy Sh..." followed by stunned laughter. It's one thing to have an outright ugly motion like Rivers, but he at least gets it off fast enough and can get it out there. Tebow is like watching slow-motion with that pull-back. What I find fascinating about Tebow is that's he's been successful at every level of the game, including the NFL. How do you not bet on that (especially in a meaningless game 16!)? You just have to adjust to his sort of game.

He just doesn't play like an NFL QB, and to 'adjust to him' is probably eventually asking too much of you offensive play to adjust to something that just isn't built for consistent success in this league. I guess there's a school of thought that "you don't know for sure until you try it for real", etc...but look at the examples that do work and win time and time again, especially as newer rules start to favor offense and a greater vertical game. Look how many points have been scored in these playoff games this year.

I'd hate to be the team that has Tebow as its starting QB. I just don't see it working long term.

Mike McCoy to be named head coach of the San Diego Chargers
Personally, I don't see why McCoy was such a hot prospect. I think he is overrated. His offense in Denver was absolutely terrible until Peyton arrived and anyone could be a good offensive coordinator with Peyton Manning (who is actually running the offense). Remember what happened the last time one of Peyton's O.C.s was promoted to head coach? The Colts got Jim Caldwell and went 2-14 when he did not have Peyton to run the offense for him. I'm not saying that McCoy will be that bad, but it is a pretty uninspired hiring, IMO.

I really think Tebow has a chance to end up with the Patriots or possibly Seattle. HAHA Rivers.

Yeah, that's the hilarious irony of all of this. I keep hearing people go on about how "all he does is win" and such, but when you ask them, "Okay, then how about we replace YOUR quarterback with him," they suddenly change their tune.
Oh, what's that? You don't want to give up Tom Brady/Aaron Rodgers/Peyton Manning/RG3 for a guy who can't throw an accurate pass that's longer than five yards? But... but... THOSE QUARTERBACKS HAVE ALL LOST GAMES! AND ALL TEBOW DOES IS WIN EXCEPT SOMETIMES WHEN HE DOESN'T! HE'LL LEAD YOU TO THE SUPER BOWL 10 YEARS IN A ROW!

Part of me would have laughed if the Texans made it all the way, because the next season it'd all the 04 QBs that have won the Super Bowl....except for Rivers.

And the sad thing is I still think he's the most talented of them all. San Diego screwed over Rivers the day they fired Marty and hired Norv Turner.

That argument is going to get so annoying, well more so the rest of the year.

Yeah, I've been hearing that all week. It's a f***ing ridiculous argument to make, and I HATE Peyton Manning. But I won't deny that Manning is an incredibly talented QB, and even if he never wins a playoff game again, he'll always be 10 times the quarterback Tebow will ever be.

Haha no. He only won in Denver because of their stellar defense. You start him in New York and he won't win a game

But as long as winning playoff games isn't that important, it's all good.
