there wasn't really anything wrong with the costumes from the first movies.

Lol, pretty much the only thing not wrong in that movie, from what I remember.

I thought the costumes in the old films were very bland, uninspired, and uninteresting.
In that sense, they fit the films perfectly.

I think they should have a variety of uniforms they wear, with variations on the Fantastic
Four's classic design. Short sleeves on some, long sleeves, fingerless gloves on some,
variations for space, under water, relaxing, in battle, etc.

Here Sue is wearing an FF jacket. More casual.

FF space suits

Fantastic Four uniforms for the cold

Fantastic Four under water suits

Fantastic Four space suits

Here Sue is wearing a Fantastic Four uniform that isn't so tight fitting. Maybe they can
wear baggy stuff sometimes.

Like in this one of the Thing, he is just wearing a Fantastic Four shirt,
blue with the 4 symbol.

This one too. But Imagine this in blue, instead of white
and imagine its maybe their main action uniform but not their only:

something that doesn't look like spandex. At the same time, not too bulky.

For this reboot, I want the color of the costumes to be different from the 00s FF films.

Maybe a mix of Blue and White.

I would like to see something that looks more like real cloth and get away from the 'muscle suits' that have become so common.

But I'd also like to see Ben in his swimming trunks. Would those two ideas be in conflict?

Something like what Sue is wearing here will be great, these suits are going to be what they put on a lot of time, as their official uniform, and no secret id, they don't need to make them tight like characters who put on their alterego garbs beneath their clothes

Don't know if it works for a film or not but this is the design I submitted to Project Rooftop:

The idea is that they are more adventures than superheroes. So their clothing should reflect that.

Thanks! Yeah I agree, probably not for the film.

I don't agree with that. The costume that Sue is wearing in that picture is kinda baggy. Its not really flattering.

And remember, these superheroes have to look good to appeal more to the general audience.

They just have to make the 4 bigger and in the middle of the uniform as well as changing the colour scheme to blue and white/light blue instead of blue and black. I liked the one with Sue having a jacket and Ben with a suit that covers his torso. This time i hope they don't give Ben boots, keep him barefoot.

The belts should be tight fitting and the boots and gloves should be like what we already got in the first 2 films. I also want to see a seam (for a zipper line) in the front and make it a one piece suit like coveralls or something similar to what we got in Star Trek TNG (a Star Fleet uniform).

The "4" insignia should definately be in the middle and be large, as far as font is concerned go with something like this for all the team.

I saw nothing wrong with what we got in the first two movies, but I would like some variation of it WHEN they go into space, they better be going into space this time around....something similar to the uniforms in Prometheus.

YES! In fact, when I saw Prometheus, I thought their outfits were perfect FF space suits.

I agree. The only request I would make is I want to see Ben in his little blue shorts. That's the classic, Iconic look. That's what I remember from before I was an FF fan. I remember reading other comic books and wondering who that big, orange rocky guy in the blue shorts was. It was a dramatic image that loses something when he has pants and boots.

the costumes from the previous films were too dark IMO. A medium blue would work best with the only dark/black parts of their suits being belts, gloves, boots and the neck line.

Honestly... Sue has never looked better than in the Ultimate Uniforms. Start with those. I'd love to see the White Uniform in a sequel though, that'd be kinda awesome.

i wouldn't be happy personally with the Ultimate costumes as the black/negative area of the outfits are too low.
