Good idea, I'd love that as well. Fury's already pissed off the World Security Council, so that would be the logical thing to do. Maybe we could even get some civil war-type fights as well.

That'll probably be how they will execute Civil War if they decide to do that for A3.

Agreed. They can go the Civil War route when they've run out of villains for the heroes to fight, i.e. in five hundred years. Hero in-fighting isn't a big draw for the GA, either.

okay guys, let's analyse what was posted on instagram. It's going to be a BIG scoop. So announcing one character casting isn't going to be the case. Let's look at what he said. I think it's going to be an avengers 2 related announcement.

So his first image, a lot of people guessed was vision related. His second image, a lot of people guessed captain america related, or rhody related. He then responded saying that no one got his hint for that image. However, he didn't say anything regarding the diamond image. No one seemed to guess Carol, regarding the diamond image. One could assume that people guessed it right, since, unlike the second image, he didn't say anything about people guessing it wrong. I think that the first image was indeed talking about vision for this reason, and for obvious ones. And given that Carol was an airforce pilot, and the second symbol seems to be a military-like symbol, and what we just heard aabout the guardians, I would think that the second symbol is talking about Carol.

So again, with this being a BIG SCOOP, these are hints to his big scoop, and him saying it's plot related, it's not going to just be the casting of Carol guys, it's not.

My bet is that is has to do with the roster for avengers 2, and maybe a brief scoop on some small plot points regarding avengers 2, part of his scoop will probably include that both Carol and Vision will be added to the roster.

Announcing that Ms. Marvel is in GOTG and Avengers 2 would be a *huge* scoop for Mayimbe. And it would be a very important announcement for the MCU, as the first *true* superheroine in the franchise (superspies don't count)

And again, given the hints that are coming out, a space-related character/plot point makes a lot more sense right now than ****ing up the Pym mythos by trying to force Vision in as a square (diamond?) peg into a round hole.

Yeah, I don't get the Vision part. I mean I understand where you could draw that conclusion from the first pic, but it just doesn't click with me. I think the second pic is most likely Danvers-related and the first pic is too, we just don't know exactly how.

Also, I think it is a pretty safe bet that Marvel wants to add another female to the current lineup and targeting Ms. Marvel as that female character makes a lot of sense given that she could pretty easily fit in with GOTG and SHIELD.

Yes, but we haven't seen Ironman 3, so we don't know nearly enough about these movies to say 100% if throwing him in will screw it up. If they do throw them in, I am more than sure they will find a way to make it work. They know what they are doing. The second image is definitally for Carol, I am fully on board with that, but the fact that he mentioned that no one guessed the second image right, and that he never said that about the first image, leads me to think that the first image was referring to the vision, and the second was to Carol. Guys, don't be so eager to right off the vision thing just yet.

I will still stand by what I say, and I think that it will be an announcement regarding Ms Marvel, Vision, and some Avengers 2 related things. We can agree to disagree, and we will see on sunday

Uhh... what? Hero in-fighting is a big draw for the GA. Hulk vs Thor, Iron Man vs Thor, Iron Man vs. Captain America, Iron Man vs. Hulk, Superman vs Batman, etc. And no one said the entire movie would be about the civil war. A tussle between the two groups before they align themselves together for a larger threat is what we were referring to.
