that would be more than awesome to me! but I think its hard to get a high number of followers, I would be happy with 500 followers this year, and 1000 around DOFP release.

I guess after the release, the campaign would get bigger since the latest movie already got released and we and the general audience wont know at all what will be their next step, so it will be the perfect moment to really PUSH Fox to do it.

What if X-Men: Days of Future Past ended up as X-Men 4?

It's going to be both I think. And then X4 shouldn't be called X4 technically. We don't need to go back to numbers. The movies should all have subtitles like First Class, Days of Future Past...they could do X-Men: Children of the Atom...I always liked that title...

I like your idea there...but I would bet 100% The Wolverine will tie into DOFP, making them the same "phase" if you will...

Fox has destroyed its continuity with First Class. If it is not restored properly with DOFP, maybe its time for a reboot.

This is growing pretty nicely. I remember those days where most users on this board where saying Fox should move just with FC cast, but now it seems the support IS there. And it wont stop here, obviously, specially once we see DOFP and most of original actors having epic action after all these years.

Im sure most fans will want to see more after that. remark my words

I think you should make a mini fan site! with sections for the roster, suggestions for plot and new characters, etc...

But its not about congrats to him and me, but to all of us, original cast lovers, this campaign is for all of us, and it will get bigger as time passes, and even if we dont get 10,000 followers ever, it will still show 20th Century Fox that the fans want more sequels with that great cast. We're sure Lauren has already seen us, same with Daniel, who has even replied us, so.... its more than likely that Bryan and Lauren have discussed about the future more than enough already, so we shouldnt need to worry about the campaign at all.

If DOFP is a huge success, as most of us are sure it will be, lets hope Fox feels more confident than ever to put this franchise on an even higher level, with at least one more sequel with FULL original cast, after X3, back on 2006.

DOFP has 8 original actors (that's a great achieve already) so we just need 4 or 5 more, and it will be perfect.

As long they have 5 to 6 actors from the original trilogy, they can continue the series with X-Men 5.

DOFP has 8 original actors returning, and there are a good portion still to return yet, so 6 would be kind of a letdown compared to Days of future past.

They have yet to get back:

- James Marsden (he would do it)
- Alan Cumming (he said recently he would return)
- Kelsey Grammer (if he is doing Transformers 4, he would easily reunite with X-Men cast, lol)
- Ben Foster (I think he would return, specially to work with Ellen again, and Bryan Singer, since they havent worked together yet)
- Taylor Kitsch (he would do it, to work with original cast is too huge of an opportunity to say No)

So that are 5 other possible returning actors, not counting Famke and some cameos and brotherhood characters, so... yeah, Fox could easily get 10 or more actors for X5, lol

Scratch that! As long as they have 5 to 6 actors from X-Men: Days of Future Past (modern-Day team), they could continue the series with a X-Men 5 movie.

How is that thinking smaller? If you saw my dream roster for X5/X6, the cast is very big.

All I was saying is they can make another X-Men team movie that can be called X5 as long as they have 5 to 6 actors from DOFP's modern day X-Men team.

It is smaller but I didn't say, FOX "should only bring" back 5 to 6 characters. I said "as long as".

So I'm not contradicting what I was saying. From the cast of DOFP, I want them to bring back Wolverine, Rogue, Storm, Iceman, Shadowcat, Bishop and Colossus for the 8th X-Men film but my post wasn't about what I want.

If DOFP has 8 original actors, next movie could easily have 10. And if its set just in present time, they will need more big names/x-men, so to get 2 or 3 more original actors will be pretty easy for Fox.

In a lot of ways DOFP Is X4.You have Xavier,Magneto,wolverine,Storm,Kitty,Iceman,Rogue,
and Colossus back plus In future part of film Bishop,Warpath,Blink and likely SUnspot.

Meanwhile for 1973 part of film you Have Xavier,Magneto,Mystique,and Beast plus most likely Boliver trask.If there are any more mutants added these are going to be cameos
and small roles like Sunspot If he Is indeed character Adan Canto Is playing.

If James Marsden was indeed on DOFP the ending of film could be setting a future film with time travel retconning things from The Last Stand.Hell they might In last shot hint at Apocalypse If Bryan SInger wasn't just messing with some interviewers.

DOFP Is likely the end of first class cast In series.For them to worry about correcting thing from last stand that hints the lan for next film following DOFP would be with original cast.

And outside of this forum, I think the general audience are more interested with the original cast. Especially when Days of Future Past comes out, even if the First Class cast has a bigger screentime than the OT cast, the OT cast will definitely outshine them especially with the display of their powers and their comeback appearance in the series.

I just feel like when it comes to fans, when they see a good movie, automatically they want a sequel but they aren't thinking the bigger picture which is earning more money, whats best for the franchise and able to compete with the other blockbuster movies out there.
