It's still considered a delay because it was anticipated for Spring 2013. Kinda like how Tomb Raider was announced for release in Fall 2012, and then eventually got the official March 6th release date.

Yeah I get that it's a delay by technicality, I just mean that be side we had no hard date till now it's not like people were really attached to a time yet. You should always take a release period with a grain of salt anyway I think.

I don't care about release dates except on Gears, Mass Effect & consoles. For every other game no matter how good I figure I'm going to play it eventually anyway. But I was super pissed off when Gears 3 & the PS3 (in Europe) were delayed.

That's pretty much the logic I'm taking too. While I'm sad we won't be getting it in Spring, it's good to know those extra months will be well spent improving the game.

Also, from a personal perspective I *should* have a much better TV to play on by September, so that's cool.

I like how every site I've been to has said that this push back is great because it gives them more time to perfect it. But for every other game pushed back, it's the worst thing that can happen because it means problems inside the game. Just goes to show that blanket that GTA covers.

I remember how annoyed I was when I found out that GTA 4 was delayed by several months, but I couldn't complain when it finally came out and it was so beautiful. I'm fine with the delay for this game knowing my faith will be rewarded with Rockstar, plus it gives me time to get caught up on other games I've been neglecting.

I can see them ignoring it. They usually just give us trailers when they want and I don't know what else they could show at E3. We have the release date. Now all we have to do is wait. 8 more months, baby!

Wasn't the box art supposed to be revealed soon? Based upon my superior intellect I'm assuming the art will be squares with game art of characters, vehicles, and action.

They said since the game was pushed back, the reveal of the box art was pushed back too.

With the game coming out in September and PS4 launching in November or December(with rumors of October)and Xbox 3 expected this holiday season too..

Any chance of GTA V getting a physical disc port or will it likely end up on PSN&XBL to download someday??

I think there is a pretty good chance it will have a port. If not around the launch of the systems, then maybe when a GOTY edition comes around.

Especially with the PS4 not supporting PS3 games, that only gives some people a month or so to pick up and play GTA before they move on to a new console (if they trade up their old one).

I'd happily take a port if it means faster load times and better performance, even if the graphics stay basically the same.

I think alot of games coming out in the summer onwards that are big blockbusters will get next-gen ports. I feel it may be unlikely but The Last of Us may even get a port to the PS4. In regular or GOTY form.

GTAV not being on the PS4 seems like it would be a loss for Rockstar. Me personally may actually skip getting GTAV altogether and wait and see if a Complete/GOTY edition arrives on the PS4.

I plan on getting PS4 and maybe Xbox 3 at launch and don't want to keep my PS3 or 360 just to keep GTA But need this game on day 1

The fork lightening is really fascinating me, because I'm wondering if you can be hit by it while flying aircraft. It'll be very cool if the weather effects your airplane, getting knocked around in a storm, etc.
