Isn't it almost literally just the raimi costume with bigger eyes? I'm guessing they responded to the criticism the last suit got and just said hey people liked the raimi suits right?

Prefer the old costume to be honest, it is a little more 'sinester' and creepy.
I think Marc is pulling people's chain because the costume is the Raimi but with the new eyes. I think it is a prank by Webb.

I dont care if it is too similar to Raimi's suit,I loved the suit
It would look even better on a taller and slimmer Garfield,just hope the symbol remains the same and they add a belt

Also a subtle explanation about why the costume has changed would be nice

Well, the webbing isn't silver. You can compare it to the middle spider, the material only looks silver in that light

so silver raised webbing hey? that's straight from the raimi films. the material looks similar too. i thought they'd go for black raised webbing to be honest.

the webbing is black, look the symbol part and sadly , people will say looks just like Raimi´s , and is true but that suit was very accurate for classic spidey

Looks like a nice mix between Raimi and the Comics. I REALLY like this. I'm hoping that webbing is black and not grey/silver. Also, it's too bad that emblem wasn't more simple, but still, it's pretty great!

the spider symbol on the front is a lot lower hey? wonder how it will change the costume overall..

I think they're still vibrant. The lighting seems to just kill the saturation.

im expecting it to be a darker color to raimis suit, maybe same as TASM suit.

Infact is it the same texture outfit but peter has just added silver webbing and bigger eyes? its hard to tell because the picture is in the light compared to other one
