I don't think a Breakfast Club remake would be as impossible as that pic says. Just have extra dialogue establishing that electronics aren't allowed in the detention room, high schools have rules like that in the real world anyway.
But I definitely hope the movie never gets messed with. |

Yep. It's a commentary on teenage addiction to mobile electronics. People don't talk anymore. When I go out to eat there is usually at least one table full of people not speaking to each other, instead all on their cell phones.
