Even though it was kinda anti-climatic. Out of all of the villains, at least she was easily beaten in 1 scene unlike Pyro, Juggernaut and Magneto. The fight scenes of X3 should have been longer.

A lot of Storm's best stuff in X3 was cut out. There was a scene of her creating a massive cloud burst, and then tidal wave that took down tons of mutants at the Alcatraz battle. While the mutant thugs were thrashing about in the water trying to gain their composure, she then summoned lightning down directly into the water electrocuting the lot of them. Halle. Was. AWESOME. And scary.

But it got deleted.

I actually didn't like that tidal wave but I liked how she electrocuted them down.

She always looks so damn bland and simplistic, especially in Bryan's films. Then again, female leads NEVER look good in his movies, just the male ones. I guess that's the difference between a gay director and a straight one? I dunno...but Brett was the first director of an X-Men film to actually make Storm look sexy on film. In fact, all of the women in X3 looked stunning compared to anything in the prior films.

In the comics, Storm is a fashionable, well-groomed woman of style. And make-up and crazy hair as shown above would do soooooooooo much for Halle as Storm. But since Bryan's team is working on this one, I'm already prepared for another bland-looking Storm.

Well, I'm sure the tidal wave could have looked cool with finished cgi.

But the dog fight in X2 will always be tops for me.

There were a number of problems with the way the scene was executed:

1.) The cloud formation was great, but the downpour of water looked fake (terrible CGI)

2.) If she's floating in place over the crowds in a vortex, why the f*** isn't her cape billowing in the wind? Lazy, bad wirework.

That's why again I have to give the edge to Bryan when it comes to her power displays. They are realistic and you can tell that he's put thought into how nature would organically be manipulated by Storm in real life. Love it.

But I will say this: the spinning tornado moves in X3 were off the damn hook. When she came down from the heavens in Jean Grey's neighborhood it was the first time I felt like I was watching an X-Men comic on screen.

Halle looked hot going down the stairs in X2 in her white low-cut shirt. It's the scene right after Logan arrives from his Alkali Lake trip. I don't get the complaint that she didn't look good in Bryan's films. She reminded me too much of the Intimidation kid from "Little Giants" (I know I'm dating myself) with that short white and black-rooted bob cut in X3. Not sexy at all.

Storm is capable of so much with her abilities. I am interested in how she will be using her powers in this next X-Men movie. In X-Men The Last Stand they used her abilities a little bit better in terms of what she is capable of doing. By no means should storm be on the ground if she is fighting up against a sentinel. Kinda makes me excited.

In all fairness, I thought Halle looked equally bad in all three movies.

I know some people don't care about the styling, but I do. Part of the reason FC looked so polished was because everyone was dressed and styled impeccably.

In the OT, you can see the bad make-up, bad wigs, bad clothing, etc.

It would have been interesting if Riptide is in DOFP. I would like to see him and Storm do a hurricane battle.

Agreed, X2 Storm was the best and she actually had a meaningful relationship with Nightcrawler. I was rewatching some of X3 the other night and while the film had some good parts, in general the editing is too cut throat. There is no room for scenes to breathe.

Hopefully Storm has a substantial role in Days of Future Past. I'd like to see Halle come into her own and finally get the chance to play the character right, I'm hoping the script has a strongly written Storm reminiscent of the character from the comics otherwise Halle will get crucified by fans yet again.

It'd certainly be cool to walk into the theatre and actually have Storm written like she is in the comics with Halle portraying a confident, strong Storm who is possibly the leader of the X-Men. I'd be pleasantly surprised. Actually I'd be F****** ecstatic!

She looks good here. Longer, whiter hair needed for DoFP.

I think Storm was the sexiest female (after Mystique) in all 3 movies. Her best look was in X2, I actually liked the hair (couldve been longer though) and make up and Halle looked beautiful, X3 she looked okay but not much better than X1. If you wanna talk about someone looking bland then we need to head over to the Jean section cause she looked very bland in X1 & 2 in X3 however she was looking hot at least until she went all zombie.

Powerwise I wanna see Storm Physically fight and not get her ass whooped in all 3 movies they let the villains beat the **** out of the heroes as though the x-men aren't trained, that always annoyed me. I want to see her channel lightning through her body and then deliver a punch or fly high while sending bolts of lightning down there are so many things that can be done and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Actually, seeing how Storm's hair gets shorter with each new movie, I think it's time we see her with that mohawk.

I actually do really like the dark "lowlights" because for once the white wig looked like it could possibly have grown from Halle's head. It also worked really well in terms of lighting... the white hair actually looked white and not blonde. I just think they went overboard with too many black streaks. Also, the haircut (and dialogue) was really bad so all I could see was Halle Berry.

yeah, I liked the black streaks too, but as you say less would be better, and of course with a longer hair.

But if I had to choose a look, I preffer X2 wig just a bit longer, and that would be comics Storm, to me.

I'm not a fan of the black streaks. Of course it doesn't make her hair look yellowish but I believe her hair in X2 only looked yellowish because of the quality of the hair. I hope they keep her wig in DOFP all white.

So... Berry's pregnant. That rules out any more spinning. Better shoot her scenes sooner, rather than later.

If it's an issue they just need to shoot Berry's scenes sooner rather than later.

Penelope Cruz was heavily pregnant while shooting Pirates of the Caribbean so they just used clever camera angles and worked around it.
