I'm only worried because at 46 years old, her pregnancy makes her a delicate flower.

Well late pregnancy could be dangerous.

I'm bummed we won't see Halle herself spinning anymore like in X3. She's always prided herself on being able to do a lot of her own stunt work.

Now, she'll be vomiting in the mornings before filming for far different reasons.

Generally a woman of her age would be put on bed rest. So the clock is ticking on Singer, Berry and co.

Well if her doctor told her to do that, then she should do that because she should prioritize her health and the health of her baby.

But at the same time, I'm a bit disappointed that we may not see Storm in full force because of this. I feel like its just wrong timing. Hopefully this will not be Harry Berry's last X-Men film.

Yeah, I do hope they continue with the original cast after DOFP is released.

I hope they are already planning this.

I'm not. She's a wind rider, not a top. More soaring and less spinning, please.

I suppose it's possible Berry could film some scenes before and after she has the baby. Principle photography lasts until October and, if she's 3 months along, Berry is due in September. She could always shoot a few scenes in November, December, and even January, if need be. That still leaves 6 months for post production work, which is absolutely doable.

If she is three months pregnant I suspect this isn't a suprise to Singer and the producers I would at least hope that she gave them a heads up so proper plans and adjustments could be made.

At her age and with diabetes she should have chosen a surrogate but good luck to her, Nahla finally has that sibling she's been asking for and he'll be half French too.

This could be reason why It took so long to neograte a deal with her.She could have tole them she was pregnent and they had to see If they could work It out In the film's schedule.

Since Halle is pregnant, and she reportedly knows the gender of her baby ; a boy....this suggests that she may be more than three months pregnant.

I think this probably means that Storm has a small role. I remember Teri Hatcher was pregnant before the filming of that James Bond movie " Tomorrow never Dies" and her screentime was just a few non-action scenes before her character was killed in an off screen death.

Hi marvelrobbins, Sorry but you really need to check your spelling or maybe you can do a spell check before posting.

You should probably keep in mind that English won't be everyone's first language for some of those who post here. Not everyone will have great English.

True, while the spinning was cool and I give props to Berry for doing her own stunts, but Storm is more a wind rider like you said. I will be fine if Storm gets at least one wind riding part in the movie and attacks from the air. Something a stunt double can do.

I think Marion Cotillard was also pregnant during production of TDKR. Anyway, as I said, they probably found a way to do it, considering her role and all, so I trust them to make it right. I don't care how big Storm's role is, I just hope it's meaningful.

All I know is that Bryce Dallas Howard's pregnancy drastically changed Spider-Man 3's third act. She refused to do any kind of stunt work.

Nolan 'figured it out' and delayed her scenes:

Quote:
The French actress fell pregnant with her first child in 2010, right around the time Nolan’s cast and crew were due to begin filming, but the loyal moviemaker insists replacing the beauty was never an option.

Speaking to Vogue magazine about the publication’s August covergirl, Nolan reveals he pushed back the Oscar winner’s shooting schedule and vowed to “figure it out” so she could remain attached to the project.

Once Cotillard gave birth to little Marcel in May, 2011, accommodating Nolan also made space for a small nursery on set so the new mom would be more comfortable with her son at work.

Nolan admits it was “amazing” to see the actress bounce back from her pregnancy to deliver a rousing performance and praises her as the ultimate “Superwoman”.

Regarding Penelope Cruz and Pirates:

Quote:
Penélope Cruz was about two months pregnant she began filming her scenes in On Stranger Tides, but that didn't affect production. Cruz's pregnancy became noticeable when production came to Puerto Rico, about four months after filming began.[2] After that, she only filmed Angelica's close-up scenes while her sister, Mónica, did all of Angelica's wide-shot scenes.

I agree on "more soaring" but spinning in the air is totally reasonable for the character's abilities, considering that tornadoes, hurricanes, etc., are centrifugal forces at work within vortexes. In other words, spinning.

Even the various video games feature Storm spinning as she manipulates the air currents around her. It's still riding the winds, just via a mini-vortex.

To me that spinning was just to make a distraction on the brotherhood, they kept looking at her spinning and prepared to defend from that and then the lighting just stroke them. But before that she went up in the air straight, and before the final battle she also flew (spelling?) straight, not sppining...

Good point. They were not prepared for that move because they saw her rise to the skies and probably expected her to just do something 'average' from there. They'd likely never seen a mutant spin like that with such speed and on such a trajectory--let alone directly towards them. Quill and Arc-Light definitely had a WTF look on their face. LOL
