I'm certain that he'll be one of the things from X3 that Singer will "fix" (other than the cure, what else is there to "fix?").

This next movie is called Days of Future Past not Return of The Dead, so it will be too much to have everyone return just yet. I'd love to see Kelsey's Beast, Alan's Nightcrawler, a much fuller role for Colossus, an origin for Storm, and a whole load of new characters introduced (including Sinister, Apocalypse, Polaris, Scarlet Witch, Shi'ar/Starjammers/Imperial Guard, and so on), but I am not seriously expecting all that to happen in this next film. This film will help get things back on the right track but it might only be at the end of the movie that the scene is properly set to get the classic characters together.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Door Open For Halle Berry, and Others
is he trying for all the original cast?....I really hope so According to Bryan Singer, the door is open for X-Men alums like Halle Berry to re-appear as their characters in Days of Future Past. Singer is currently stumping for Jack the Giant Slayer, but can’t seem to escape questions about his upcoming ensemble X-Men flick Days of Future Past, which will ambitiously include story lines and cast members from the original X-Men as well as First Class continuities. Though X-Men alums like Ian McKellan and Hugh Jackman are back alongside James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, many fans have wondered whether actors like Halle Berry, Famke Janssen and James Marsden will reprise their roles as well. “It depends on how it works out,” Singer told E! News. “I loved working with Halle, so all I can say is we’ll see what happens.” I guess we’ll see what happens, too. Until then, Singer just seems happy to have gotten the band back together. He told The Huffington Post: “It’s just a good feeling. It’s a good feeling because I’m anxious to work with these new cast members in the capacity of a director. And also to work with my old friends. And we’ve remained friends: Ian and I are great friends — and Hugh. I just can’t really wait to work with everybody on what is a very good story. It’s a story that that really involves all of those characters and really puts them to good use. They’re not just thrown in for the sake of it. And it’s also a very epic story and takes place in multiple times. And, also you’ll see, there will be things that haven’t been in an X-Men film yet that fans and non-fans alike will appreciate.” Last edited by summers1055; 03-02-2013 at 12:36 PM. |

Famke Janssen responds to Wolverine rumours (article published this month) Xmen 10 huh? is that a hint for her being in days of future past.
Exclusive: “I hope X-Men 10 comes around…” X-Men: Days Of Future Past has cast several names from the previous films in its time-jumping narrative, though one famous face yet to sign up is Famke Janssen. And that’s not the only X-Men movie in production. The Wolverine is getting its claws out for a standalone sequel (set after the events of X-Men: The Last Stand). In Total Film magazine issue 204, we catch up with Janssen - who played telekinetic X-woman Jean Grey in the franchise's first three installments - and we asked her to address the rumours surrounding a cameo in The Wolverine... “I heard! I’m very excited about those rumours [laughs]. After a three-year hiatus and not being able to work because I was developing my own movie, any roles are welcome. So I hope X-Men 10 comes around, with Jean Grey in a wheelchair.” For more from Famke Janssen, pick up the brand-new issue 204 of Total Film magazine, which is on sale now. |

So I did an X-Men Marathon. It was nice except I had to endure X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X3... *sighs* The way X3 happened, shouldn't have happened.

I know but I choose to watch XO:W cause i hadn't seen it. As for X3, its been a while since I had seen it.
*sighs* I miss...Jean... She's my fave x-woman next to Mystique. Am I like the only guy who cries during X2 when Jean dies? It gets me every time.

Wow, Cyclops looks far more commanding in that video game, but what's up with Storm? She got beaten with the ugly stick.

Love the X-Men Legends videogames! I wish they made a third one instead of Marvel: Ultimate alliance!

While I fully expect Jean and Scott to play a role in this "new era" of films Singer/Millar are planning, I'm with X-Maniac in thinking that you can't just do everything all at once in one film. These things take time. Maybe they'll appear in the new timeline that's created, but I think that's the best we'll get with this film. And that's not too bad, IMO.

And I wish Scott had this sort of presence in the films. Actually James Marsden is more than capable of projecting this without the physical stature shown here. They just enjoy hiding him 20 minutes into each film.

The timeline being altered can do pretty much anything.
However, if need be...just say that Jean in X3 was actually Madelyne Pryor. As for Scott, we never SAW him die on-screen. Floating shades? Meh. Sinister took them both, and has had them all along. Simple as that. |

Hmm... Madelyne Pryor eh? But I agree we never saw Scott die on screen. If anyone wants to read my fan fic story about what happened at Alkali Lake when Jean comes back, let me know.
