I wonder if they might be following the comic format where they had an entire issue spanning the time that Michonne tortured and maimed him and him attacking the prison.

That seems like a lot for two episodes.

They sort of already did that last season although far less graphically. He's already been jacked up pretty good.

I noticed an absence of Beth in the Comic-Con trailer. That's not a good sign. Especially if they do the serial killer storyline like it kind of suggests...

Sometimes the trailers are misleading tho.but if Beth has to go its this season and storyline.I read that they expanded the prison to accommodate the newcomers and a shower is being built,if the shower is in this season then Beth gets it during the shower scene

Kirkman is such a d*ck. He's threatening to kill off Daryl because he can't handle the fans saying they'll riot if he does. lol Whiny baby.

He teases killing off Rick, and now Daryl. Just go ahead and kill off all the originals, Kirkman. Go ahead. See how many stick around.

It's Robert Kirkman. He's only ever serious if he's talking about something that's already happened, and even then, still not all the time.

What bothered me most was the whining. "I don't like it when fans complain when I kill a comic character off!" Well, if you kill a fan favorite, the fans will complain. Comes with the territory lol.

According to executive producer and special FX makeup designer Greg Nicotero, episode 1 -- which is intriguingly titled “30 Days Without an Accident”) will include a zombie baby. Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne, confirms the gruesome appearance

'The Walking Dead' cast members talk about the season 3 finale scene you didn't see
http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/08/07/wa...eleted-scenes/

Quote:
“Originally, the beating scene that started the episode wasn’t there. Originally, I showed up and was led into the room where Andrea was…and then [The Governor] shot me in the stomach, completely unexpectedly.… There was a lot more of Milton trying to open the door and him trying to free her from the chains. And then there was a section where he was going to wrap the chain around the neck and try to choke her to death before he turned so she wouldn’t have to deal with Walker Milton, or Biter Milton, as it were.…They both desperately wanted for that to work but at that point he had bled out so much. So he pulls and pulls and pulls but he doesn’t get it done and he falls against the wall and is passed out. And he never comes back from that until he turns into a walker…And then at the end of that, it was just Tyreese and someone else who found her. Rick and Daryl and Michonne weren’t there. So it was essentially the same idea, except you saw me taking chunks out of Laurie Holden in that version.”

So how do you folks feel about them bringing in "new" zombies, which are supposed to be smart or rather more cunning than your average walker?

I like it. It will mix things up a bit and make them more dangerous.

I'm not sure about the "new" zombies. I guess it depends upon how they're explained and how different they are to the "regular" zombies.

If anything, I would have thought that zombies would get weaker and less threatening the longer they were zombies since they're just walking, biting, decaying flesh suits.

Then again, I guess there could have been some kind of mutation of the original pathogen which results in newer zombies retaining greater cognitive functions.

I guess it's not really that new to TWD television series, in the second episode of the first season there were zombies using bricks and other debris to break into that department store.

^ I noticed that too, but only after my second viewing. We also had Morgan's wife looking through the peephole and trying the doorknob, and listening for anyone in the house.

What I'm most interested in with this show is what risks it's willing to take. What made the comics so great is that they were very much in keeping with how George RR Martin tells his stories in Game of Thrones--namely, almost no one is safe.

The tv series hasn't kept up that vibe yet. They've only killed off one really likeable major character (Dale) and that was because the actor wanted out. They need to get more ballsy.

Pffft. The only likable character they've killed off is T-Dog.
