Sypnosis from Spider-Man TAS episode 5

Since recently we've seen pics of Spidey pulling off an imposters mask, how cool would it be if Mysterio was behind this?

During this film we see it happen. Spidey stops him amd just thinks its some thug posing as him to make him look bad. But then it happens again in the third film and that's when we find out it was Mysterio all along.

Mysterio = Man in Shadows

Chameleon also did something similar in TSSM. So actually either Mysterio or Chameleon being behind it would be pretty cool.

It's bound to happen anyways with the critics. They'll see the scene of Spider-Man dealing with copycats or crooks stealing his image and they'll automatically think "The Dark Knight" because most critics haven't picked up a comic book since they were in their teens.

But would be cool if the imposter is Chameleon or Mysterio... probably won't be, but cool nonetheless. I do hope we'll get to see Peter Parker finally cornering Uncle Ben's killer in the beginning of the movie. With all the supporting characters and villains in this, this movie is going to have to at least be 2 hours and 20 mins to 2 hours and 30 mins to cram everything in. Maybe Shailene's, Chris', and Sally's screentime won't be as big--- maybe Paul's screentime won't be as big, but there's going to be a lot to account for.

Shailene Woodley's Mary Jane is going to have a very minor role in TASM2. That has actually been confirmed.

Its hard to say whether or not this movie is going to have too many characters or not. I think its pretty clear that Electro is going to be the main villain in this film.

The problem with Spider-Man 3 is that it had three main villains, and didn't know how to balance them out. Each of them had nothing to do with the central story. In fact, I don't think there ever was a central story to begin with. Just a bunch of subplots taped together revolving around Spider-Man getting the symbiote costume.

As long as there is a clear main villain, a clear plot, and a good direction, TASM2 can pull off having multiple villains, and a large cast. Rhino could be a minor villain, while Norman Osborn would be the "behind-the-scenes" type bad guy.

No, its only a small role. We can expect her to have a bigger one in the third film. She'll probably have 2-3 scenes in this film, probably around the same screen time as Flash Thompson in TASM.

yeah she'll probably be in it slightly more than flash was in the first, assuming the reports that she has a small role are true.

It's natural to bring up something that showed up in a CBM that seems to be popping up in another.

Why you go on the Spider-Man threads when you're obviously more obsessed with Batman/TDK movies and constantly reference it and stand behind other people referencing it...just curious.

This. Electro as the main villain and Rhino as muscle or a quick-y tied into Dillon's research works and won't feel bloated. That said, I don't think Norman will be behind-the-scenes for the entire film. I expect him to interact with Harry and Peter, but he will not be a main villain.

So in TASM the scene where he's walking through school after Uncle Ben's death is a scene that makes me cry and it's the saddest and deepest scene I've ever seen in a movie...I feel a real connection in that scene. So what do you guys think will be a deep emotional scene in this film? I'm thinking Peter just breaking down and getting stressed out crying about his and Aunt Mae's struggle would be pretty deep.
