He said it was difficult for the production as there a re many 'leading actors' in this film and that scheduling them all was hard, He names Anna Paquin, Ian Mckellen and Halle Berry as well as himself as having other commitments and so could not stay long. He basically implies that all those actors will be returning to do more filming, (at least that's what I got from it). He mentions that they'd be filming by August, I think he thinks that's when the production ends.

At the end he says that he thinks X-Men: Days of Future Past will be the blockbuster movie of 2014. With all modesty of course.

Simple. It was his twin brother. So it would look like him and sound like him.

As far as Moira knew it was him........ Charles is a goddamn telepath.

how does that explain Moira knew it was Charles instead of his brother?

he could telepathically communicate that information to her, instead of having some clunky dialogue explaining how he survived and who he was.

but the x-gen was on Charles body, not on his brother one.

I think none has discussed about this yet, but in the scenario of Charles mind being on a new body, that would mean no powers anymore.

i suppose if Xavier can put his mind into his twin brothers mind then the powers are still there but just in a new body

although it may mean Xavier can walk now

he transfered his mind while being on his body.

the gen-x is on his body, same as we have our own gens.

thats a realistic approach, but if you like the idea of transferring his power too, fine, lol

Maybe Patrick Stewart transferred his mind into James McAvoy Prof X, which would explain why he has a smaller role.

Xavier can be like jean. Her power was in the subconscious. The subconcious is in the mind.

That quote on the main page of superhero hype has Patrick questioning how he would even be in this movie, and the stupid comatose twin brother thing isn't even mentioned, just time travel. Another sign they are thankfully not going the brother route.

chances are he forgot about that ending, maybe singer explained the twin brother thing and patrick just didn't get it... just like the rest of us

but at same time who knows, depends how loyal singer wants to be the TLS

I think he might work his way around it. It will probably addressed and dismissed.

what if he transferred his mind to his young 70's twin, and we have James playing both of them

He used his telepathy to enter her mind and let her know it was him.

Either by reactivating her memories of him or just giving her the info of what he did.

but Moira reacted surprised when the new body said: Hi Moira

So... she didnt know Charles's mind was in that body.

There isnt a believable explanation, as hard as we try it now, lol

Maybe she was surprised to find charles mind in the body of a braindead twin brother that she's probably been treating for years. That's enough to make me surprised.

why are some of you avoiding certain points like.... his brother VOICE??

so his voice was the same as Charles too?

so according to SHH users, Charles brother has the same look, powers and voice. Wow

Have you met twins before, I wonder, no offense at all intended. But many twins have very similar voices, some of them are really hard to tell apart. If their voices were completely different than twins wouldn't be able to fool others as much as most of them do. Trust me I have many friends that are twins, and I'm a twin myself although I'm a fraternal twin.

Um It's common In fiction to have actors playing their twin.

Maybe Bryan SInger has another explantaion for Xavier's return.

earlier in the movie he had her doing a video conference for his ethics class, where they talked about how one could transfer their mind to a comatose patient just before they die, to preserve there life... so she obviously knew it was a possibility (and they may have had discussions/ plans of him doing so, over the years, if it came to that)

as for why she seem surprised, well cause for one it would mean he died (or at least his body did) an seacondly that he would take what was implied to be an extreme un-ethical action to save/preserve his own life

Edit:

Too bad, this Moira thing is probably one of the things that Bryan Singer won't fix.
