So Simon K has been with Bryan since yeah? So Millar might not be lying about the specifics if it's shared ideas going over to Bryan.

It's from 2 hours ago.

He's probably getting hit up from everyone because of that interview from Bleeding cool.

Yeah, Millar knows whats going on. Everyone just assumed he met with Singer which he hasn't. Don't think he ever said he did....

He might never officially meet him until after the movie is wrapped. Bryan is a very busy man at the moment.

Reading comments on other sites, I see Im not the only one who sees there may be something going on between Singer and Millar. At least that Singer doesnt feel him so much.

Although Millar has done some good stuff in comics (including Ultimate X-Men and FF, which are decent updates on the mythos), it's clear from forums and website comment sections that he is also not that well regarded by people online (he's seen to be full of self-hype and BS). So it was an odd appointment to make him a consultant, as he's not someone the fanboys regard or trust and the mainstream and critics have never heard of him.

I heard ages ago that he's having no input or involvement in DoFP. So that's no surprise to me personally.

"But you know bright brain a bit of my own tone, my old-school tone to this one, but very excited about it."

On 3D

"It's gonna be 3D, it's good to shoot, I really like, I think it's important to shoot and make a 3D and not post-menstrualizer for some scenes you can do that, but, but to be able to control your doubts."

On Magneto

"Actually, I'll show you What's interesting is here, is yeah, we deal with both because I have both, Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender under the picture, we deal with both sides of that point of view and really explores the relationship between the Xavier and Magneto and the evolution of that relationship." "Where it came from and where it's going."

Yeah, he gets trashed by the net bad.

Really dug the film adaptions for Wanted and Kick-Ass. And for the most part a majority of his comics. I got nothing wrong with him as a consultant, as long as everyone at the studio actually works together. This franchise has needed something of the sort. Could they have got somebody better? Probably. But right now I don't see any reason to think it was a bad call.

Considering his work on Marvel was primarlly the ultimate line I was never that excitied to hear on him being hired.

It's still funny to hear some bash him since MS films especilly The Avengers are based on his work on the Ultimates.Which Is reason why I am not In love with the MS films like others
since I hate the ultimate line almost as much as I do Grant Morrison's run on New X-men.

I have heard he was unofficial consulant to Matthew Vaughn with first Class.Since Simon Kinberg was working on DOFP with Vaughn till Vaughn moved over to producer not a surprise his contact on DOFP Is mostly Kinberg. And It wouldn't be surprise to find out with vaughn Producing FF that Millar Is mostly consulting on that now.

I can't wait for the post-menstrual Storm storyline, to be honest.

Your right, I think he did tweet something similar awhile back. Don't think he mentioned meeting with Kinberg though.

Depending how far ahead the DoFP dystopia is set, you may not have too long to wait... Mind you, in Storm's case it won't be so much a menstrual cycle as a monsoon season...

would be really great to have a tweet teasing the costumes, maybe showing one of the materials and its colour

THAT would create a lot of hype,

He should tease Rogue or Kitty's costume, in case they will use one, of course
