I honestly don't think Bale's Batman would fit in a JL world. While Nolan's Batman was not completely devoid of fantastical elements, he didn't depict his Batman as someone who could make a full mech suit (that Batman would need to actually partake in any combat against a villain requiring all the JLA to fight against), or make space-faring vehicles etc.
I personally would like to see a Batman movie set more in the tone of the BTAS/AA games before we see Bats in the JLA. A Batman in that kind of world functions better with the JLA. Bale's/Nolan's Batman doesnt

But then again...it's not like Blake can cough up the Watchtower.
Honestly it's just a mess. Leave the previous Nolan Batworld alone and reboot with another one. Bale can be another Batman...but it may feel odd.

That could work brilliantly.
Bring back Bale as a different Batman in a new Nolan universe and recast the other roles.

No. And now I'm thinking perhaps they should wait less time to reboot Batman than Sony did to reboot Spider-man. The sooner everyone moves on, the better.

That's to confusing. If the actor is the same no one would know it's a difference between the two universes.

I dunno. If Kirsten Dunst played Mary Jane in ASM2 people would be confused and think the two universes were connected.

It could still work. Just have Bruce be the overseer of the Justice League in a more tactical role rather than a fieldwork role and have Blake be the Batman of Gotham a la Batman, Inc. The one of Gotham (Blake) is known by the public, but the one of the Justice League (Bruce) is more of a behind-the-scenes character. You still get his devotion to justice, but you keep him out of Gotham (where all of his pain is) so that his character arc is still intact. You could always have Blake be Nightwing also, but I'm not a big fan of that idea.

I want a Batman reboot that pushes some more of the fantastical Batman elements.

It would be a hangup that wouldn't last long though.

How do you explain to the audience it's the same character played by the same actor but it's a totally different universe and continuity?

Orly? Until TDK came out, a lot of people thought Batman Begins was a prequel to B89 despite all evidence to the contrary. People in the general population can be really stupid when it comes to this kind of stuff. Expecting them to figure out that the same actor playing the same role is actually for a completely different storyline? Good luck with that one.

I'll take this like I take everything El Mayimbe says...with a grain of salt.
However if true, this the ONLY logical move for WB/DC. Bringing back Bale & Nolan is the only thing that could save this trainwreck that the DC Cinematic Universe has become. Keep it in continuity with Nolan's films and MOS. Besides this gives them a chance to fix that god awful ending of TDKR...seriously guys, the ending was horrid. My only advice (again assuming if true) would be scrap the whole Justice League idea entirely for World's Finest (Batman/Superman) instead. Honestly who gives a crap about any other DCU character besides Bats and Supes? Seriously the Flash? Wonder Woman? Green Lantern, lol? Focus on the big two for now and get the audience primed and pumped for a future JL film if you so choose.

If WB manages to make it happen, without undermining TDKR's ending, a solid "yes" from me.

Even though I'm interested to see how they will reboot Batman in the future, I am thrilled at the prospect of seeing Bale's Bats in the hands of Synder or whomever will direct the movie. And also, whats all this backlash that some keep saying that they dont want to see Bats in a movie with superpowered people? I mean, have any of you actually watched Superfriends or BTAS or JLU? or even read the comic books? Where ever Bats goes, the people will follow!! I mean I didnt hear alot of complaining when the Avengers included Capt America! I know he is the supposed to be the pinnacle of human physicality but he has no superpowers either!

Yes. Bale has to come back. He must...he must. Seriously thought this would be the best thing for DC comics films. Build on strong foundations.

Oh and I'm more for a Worlds Finest film before JL. Be nice to see Blake as Nightwing and Hathaway deserves another shot at Catwoman.

TDKR is over, just like Batman '89 and Batman '66. I seriously doubt that anything they do with the character now will change those films.
