I agree with this Cyclops isn't my favorite either, but what they did to him in X3 was ridiculous. They took a long standing character from the comic books who was an integral part of the X-Men storyline for decades and...killed him off screen. Boo, for shame!

Back to Jennifer Lawrence, I hope she doesn't leave the franchise. Her body type works so well for Mystique. I wasn't too sold on the acting part for First Class, but maybe that was just the lines she had to say.

Her powers probably came back.

Why do you think Iceman/Magneto had to rescue her from a mutant prison or something? Its probably because she's still a mutant and her powers are still active and she was in that prison as one of the prisoners.

This is the same star-struck organization (Hollywood Foreign Press) that nominated Johnny Depp/Angelina Jolie's The Tourist as Best Picture. Not saying Jennifer is undeserving (I've only heard good things about her performance) but it's not surprising they chose a big time movie star over a newbie.

Where have you been? They've been back together since before DOFP started filming.

I hate to write this because I love Jennifer Lawrence but she didn't deserve that award.

They're weird, they tend to award the hot new stuff on tv, but then tend to lean towards vets or those who have won before in film.

The Brooklyn Nine Nine win tonight was indeed weird.

Golden Globe nominations are always weird, but the wins (for film) always matter. TV is another story, as seen tonight and almost every year.

Jennifer Lawrence basically got robbed for not even nominated for Katniss Everdeen in Catching Fire, (I thought she basically was the BEST Actress in that movie rather than American Hustle) I don't care if you agree with me or not, she was a FORCE OF NATURE/THE BEST of all the actresses this year in Hunger Games: Catching Fire (Better than Cate Blanchett, Better than Sandra Bullock those two can NOT beat Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss, I am sorry), so I felt her lesser impressive role in American Hustle win was more than fair deal, since she wasn't even considered for CF! I was so worried she wouldn't get it cuz her REAL shine was Catching Fire, and not really American Hustle. Thank God she did won so this awesome girl can be happy. When Jennifer Lawrence is happy, good things happen to this world, period.

GOD I LOVE EVERYTHING about her acting in Hunger Games: Catching Fire!!!!! Not one millisecond was bad!

American Hustle is easily her career best, thus far. But that's just me...

Really? I thought she looked like a little kid playing dress up. Not a bad performance per say, but definitely not very convincing.

No period. You have your opinion, I have mine.

She was phenomenal in AH, and has received every deserved accolade so far.

Everybody all seemed miscast to me except of course Robert Deniro. Which is very weird because I immensely enjoyed the movie.

She was not more phenomenal in AH anymore than she already was in CF and SLP (Both had WAY WAY WAY WAY more acting range from her than AH), I just don't understand why people thought her AH role was much better. Kinda baffling really!

SLP and CF and Winter Bones already more than enough proved to me, how AMAZING Jennifer is, without AH to convince me. Just because it's her newest movie doesn't mean it's her best!

Just watch, she will also be phenomenal in X-men: Days of Future past and any other movies she will be in the future! This woman CAN ACT!!!

There Is no way Jennifer would get nominated for catching fire. That's a popular film. It's hard for them to get nominated. She's almost guranteed a oscar nomination. And I say she Is front runner to win Best Supporting Actress.
