I think she will be a growing villian, but she won't be the cold assassin like in the OT

That's just lazy character development

But I do think if jackman is the time traveler he will need a good fight and nimrod would be decent enermy and he is half sentinel If i remember right

Yes, really. The same body prosthetics worn by Rebecca R. in the first three films were used on Jennifer L. in XM:FC. In fact her fitting them so well got her the role. They did redo the forehead for her and had to make new breast appliances when she lost some dimension in the chest and they no longer fit properly.
Now for XM: DFP a different approach is being taken so I doubt much if any of the old stuff is being used, except perhaps the color reference. That is hard to tell from photos as the blue looks different under different lighting conditions, just like in the past X-Films.

No.

I don't want to see a complete personality switch to silent assassin has already taken place during the missing 11 years. That's too radical to just happen without explanation, and better still if we see the changes happening in this film.
Nobody said they can't show it. But I mean, they can go into the movie with her already somewhat changed. And she just changes more and more as the film progresses.

This is fast becoming Singer's most popular tweet. It's about to eclipse Berry and Jackman's. The power of Lawrence.

so your saying by the end of this movie she should be like OT mystique? it is only 1973, there is still 2 decades where she can turn into OT mystique

it would be incredibly rushed to do that, FC had alot more depth then rushing the characters development and if singer gets rid of that then he is losing what made FC go down well with critics

obviously there will be a change to her character, maybe stronger and more confident but some of the humanity will still be there, maybe slowly ticking away by decade

after all singer did say this

And a lot more because this combines the stories and the casts of both X-Men: First Class and my original X-Men films

Still doesn't work.

Why has she changed? You can't just write it off as due to the passage of time.

There's a huge gap between vulnerable/insecure Mystique of First Class and cold silent assassin Mystique of the original trilogy. We need to see how she gets that way, not for some lazy storytelling to simply say 'she changed, okay?'

agreed that would be a huge drop in quality from FC

Indeed. Raven's development was one of the many things in FC that was great.

She looks really good.

Massive upgrade for Mystique and Beast in terms of their appearance/make-up, from First Class.

Also, Bryan referred to her as a vengeful Mystique when he posted the pic.

Looks like "the girls" have gotten a little flattened by the body suit - a problem nicely avoided with the individual prosthetic approach... oh well ...

Seriously, what the **** is it? Did Mystique get prolonged exposure to radiation or something?

Somebody needs to kill it with fire... Maybe that's why Sunspot's in the movie.

The makeup in FC was horrible and unflattering to Jennifer.

But it's still makeup on her face, right? That can't be part of the bodysuit. But then, if it is makeup, won't she still have an allergic reaction to it?

The face and hands are pretty much the same process as before - the real difference this time is she is wearing what looks like a one piece body suit that has all the body scales on it. My guess would be that he suit ends at that heavy line of scales that runs from the shoulders down between the breasts.

I think the only thing she was "allergic" to was the extra time it took to glue and remove all the prosthetics to her body - this will obviously be considerably faster, but you are still looking at about 3 hours worth of work.

I want to see what it looks like at the bottom. Will they be like stockings so that she has sock feet, or will they be like leggings which cut off at her ankles so that she still has her bare feet? I'm guessing it will be the latter as it will look very odd suddenly with sock feet when it wasn't that way before.

I am confident it ends at the ankle with appliances transitioning onto her own painted feet - just like the arms end at the wrists.

But, I do want to see what her other bottom looks like - I assume there's some type of thong designed into it to get separate cheeks and no webbing over the "cleavage" ...

I definitely like the look more compare to her look in First Class!

Plus she's sexier!

Hope the new pic shuts up her haters trying to say she's too chunky. She looks to have a very similar figure to Rebecca.

I actually wanted her to have longer hair just like in the comics just for something new and I feel it would look better in screen.
