haha
plenty of people like both. becuz i do, and usually a lot of people think and feel the same way i do about things. maybe not enough people that post on spider-man forums on sites like this. but plenty of room for both of them. the problems with Webb's version don't have anything to do with the problems with Raimi's version. ultimately, we got the comics and even then, everyone's got their own favorite run, Ditko, Romita, i don't know who else, McFarlan, Straczynski :P, Slott :).
so it shouldn't really shock anyone to see bickering about directors. bring it on, man. cuz whatever u bicker, one day hopefully you'll see the version u hate and be able to read more into it. Spidey's the best superhero ever written, i love all 4 films so far. but they'd all be better if i was in charge, u know what i mean?

I feel like the Clone Saga is one of those terrible stories that some seem to think can be "fixed" or "done right" (not referring to anyone on here...just a general statement). But it's such an unfixable thing. Hell, even Bendis attempted a "modernisation" in Ultimate Spider-man and that wasn't even very good. Although we did get Ultimate Jessica Drew out of it so I'm not complaining in the end.

No clones.

Please god, no clones.

Oh, it's not that we don't comprehend....we just don't understand why someone would continue to say the most ridiculous things.

Only good part of the Clone saga is Ben. I really like Ben Reilly, but the clone saga as a whole is pretty blegh.

I see it's a very, very big deal that MJ is working as a waitress.

I guess you can nitpick about everything when you've set your mind to do so.

Not the skinny pants, please. They talk about it as if they were going to be a spin-off movie.

Wait a minute, that is what it is. It's the band to the web-shooters. They will show Peter constructing them again...

I'm with ya, kind of. Sometimes it's real fun if he gives enough clues.

I'm guestimating but they'll be done with shooting at around Day 130 ish?
