I think you are way over predicting Despicable Me 2 Jamie.

I have Star Trek 2 close enough to IM3 that I think it has a shot. Only domestically though as Trek isn't that popular overseas. Don't get me wrong I see Trek 2 at least making 2.5 times what the first film did in the international market but 325 overseas combined with the 340mil I'm predicting here in the states won't beat IM3 worldwide IMHO.

Sorry to my fellow Superman fanboy's and girls but I don't think that Man of Steel is even in the convo. I think it will do well but not well enough to be the highest grossing film overseas or domestic.

I see a few possible contenders, and if MoS explodes, it has a chance. Oz doesn't technically count in terms of the Summer, but will be a contender for the best business of the year overall. Iron Man 3 should be the front runner alongside Monsters University and Desipcble Me 2, but perhaps Depp still has some pull and the kiddies will like them some Lone Ranger.
Iron Man 3, Trek, MOS, Fast 6 in no particular order.

He has done several pretty good manips here. If the person he heard new pics were being released by WB, runs that fanpage, I feel he will be really disappointed. Especially give their track record of making themselves look like idiots. I hope he does have a legitimate source that is not associated with that page and come tomorrow or sometime soon we have new pics....

I can't wait until Movie Moan's Summer movie box office predictions just so I can hear an explanation of why Jamie thinks that Despicable Me 2 is grossing 375-400+mil in the states.

She's an idiot. She contradicts herself multiple times with her own opinion. She says crap like they need to do something new a fresh but that costume is horrible and they should have used the classic. I could go on and on but I'm on a phone and that would take forever

Any idea of how the narrative structure of the film might unfold?

I'm guessing it'll start in the present with Clark in his beard phase, and we'll have flashbacks interspersed during the first third or half of the film. Similar to Batman Begins?

I disagree nipples on the suit would achieve the hyper-realistic sense of true sculpted muscles and that the suit is skin-tight.

oh nipples would be great. thatd probably put it at roughly second place on the list of greatest superhero costumes in film. right behind the amazing costume shaq wore in «steel»

Henry looks so pumped in that pic. Its great to have a physical Superman that matches the comic version.

I don't think that's how it'll look in the film thankfully, it seems like they've 'shined him up' in these pics
