Also it would be easy to bring lizard into sinister six, bring him back and have the Lizard persona take over fully this time and have him declare Connors is gone, etc. Its not that difficult. Sometimes I swear some people on here think so small or narrow minded they limit their own enjoyment and creativity.

Also why is it again so offensive GuestStar2004 that some might think or like if they tweaked the lizard a bit to reflect a change in persona, Characters looks in sequels change often. Its not unheard of and not IMPOSSIBLE by any means.

its a case of things that can be done in comics and cartoons that can't be done in a movie and get away with it

in many ways you could say TASM lizard look is based on

and its also a transformation of ifans face, with the teeth being quite human in appearance and a human shape head

but many seem to want something more like this look

it just seems like there is no reason to change it now webb has given us his version of the lizard, and you never know it may happen that his look will change but it does seem more fans wanting to see it more then there is a reason for it, there is nothing webb can't give us with his current lizard look

I wonder, with some of the little possible hints towards the symbiote and Gwen's death each happening in this movie, if maybe Spidey defeats five of the members of the Sinister Six, only to discover they were a distraction for the 6th member (Green Goblin) to capture Gwen and kill her in the famous sequence. Spider-Man, in anger, closes out the movie by taking the symbiote costume for himself, setting up the arc for the third movie, in which it is Mary Jane's love and support that brings him back from the brink and helps him break free of the symbiote.

Just throwing together some potential plot points for fun. Not making a cohesive argument here for anything.

well by that logic there was no reason to change spideys suit, but he did that.

Not really its all based on a decision by the director to change something based on some reason he has. What if webb had a reason to make Lizard more animalistic in his next go around? since we are just guessing here.

maybe Connor´s lizard part takes over and while that he invents a formula that Keeps the change permanent and a side effect is that the lizard takes over the more time that he stays , you can say , Why didn´t that hapeened in the first movie? it implies that the lizard persona is still on Doc Connors mind in the mid credits scene

if webb decided he wanted the lizard to be just a no brains animal/monster then yeah sure why not

although i still can't see why it would make any sense to do so, even if he wanted to make the lizard a brianless beast its not something he couldnt do with his design already

but hey im done talking about it

Webb likes the classic Lizard look, that's the version you will always see as Webb is the director.

If Connors is indeed in Ravencroft, then it kinda dampers the dreams of those who still wanted the TAS-M game to be in the same continuity as the film, lol. I for one have seen something I have finally liked if Ravencroft is in the sequel.
