Not going to lie that would be really cool to get a cameo by Flint Marko pre-Sandman or Cletus Kassidy, Tombstone, Hammerhead, Herman Schultz, or The Enforcers. Just nice little nods or winks at the audience.

im not sure we will see sandman again in webbs version, a man who can turn to sand is abit more different to gene splicing and robotic suits

but who knows

bit harsh to make all of the above inmates at an insane asylum. kind of insulting to imply all criminals = insane, or all insane people = criminals. i know that wasn't your intention, but yeah.

if the comic book counter part is a criminal and not a mentally deranged person, then not a good idea to put them in ravenscroft.

not all criminals just little nods like Cassidy beeing mentioned or maybe Connors because as i´ve been saying the lizard persona is not all gone or the fact that he may or may not imagined man in the shadows and maybe Mysterio idk.

well if these venom spin off rumours end up being true then i could definitely see a mention of cletus popping up. webb certainly likes to foreshadow.

MCU villains would be in The Raft or the Vault.

Besides the little rumor of Rhino having a "suit", I won't say Rhino takes away anything as Rhino could easily be some half man/half beast that Spidey already fought offscreen. At least we have confirmation on Ravencroft and that could be where Connors is at rather than that other asylum that's in the game.

i remember at one point in the game you swing with gwen on your back, and the game emphasizes that it is her first time doing so.

except she already swung around with peter in the movie.....

rhino in the game can't speak, nor is anything more than a rhino who was given human dna (the opposite of connors).

to think that paul giamatti would sign up to play such a role is really dumb lol.

the game is fan fiction at best. there is no way webb or sony have even considered it in the making of tasm2, nor should they.

And that scene was taken out of the film.

To think Paul would sign up to play Rhino period sounds off, lol. And plus, Rhino could have become smarter over time. I'm pretty sure it happened with the Lizard even when it should've been the other way around.

Now it's fan fiction. But certainly before, it could be looked at as it making some sense to be in the same continuity, especially when Beenox did meet up with Sony and Marvel regarding this game(and didn't the makers of the game even read the movie's script?). It's just now, there's no reasoning to think the game follows the film's continuity at all.

no it wasn't. there is still the shot of peter swinging with gwen holding onto him. it is brief. but it is there.

and yeah, i agree that it originally looked like an official tie in. but these days, there is no way that is true.

I personally never looked at the game as cannon. In my opinion, that story was horrendous. Definitely a let down.

They showed them swinging?

Well nevermind, haha. Could've swore they didn't swing since they took out the scene of them kissing at that clocktower.

No doubt it was pure crap, but there was always a moment it could have been canon. I never wanted that to happen, but there was that chance it could've been.

I'm not saying I'm right by any means, but I've personally always believed the 'man in the shadows' was just Connor's imagination/psychosis. If so, it would make more sense with the Ravencroft reveal today for him to be in an insane institution.

Just they way that scene was shot, with quick cuts/close up twitches of Connor's ear always led me to believe it was all in his head. Plus how near impossible it would be for a man to appear/disappear in that jail cell.. Just my two cents and Massee could certainly still be an actual character

3:56 , and is just a blink still can´t get why they didn´t keep those scenes, oh wait they wanted to be different from Raimi´s and missed the opportunity to have a romantic scene and even a 3D scene maybe following them arround

i'm surprised peter could swing that well. not a crane or conveniently placed helicopter in sight.

i hope he does more of this kind of swinging in the sequel.

I hate how the majority of people want him to be this "perfect" super-hero who has amazing swinging and such, it defeats the realism which is the main factor.

Yes, to be exact, they wanted it to be realistic that he could talk.

but there's a difference between theoretically realistic and visually realistic. Lizard could've had slightly longer & slightly sharper teeth (emphasis on the "slightly", of course he couldn't have mcfarlane lizard teeth), he also could've had thinner lips, the ones in the movie looked too "pouty". Theoretically he couldn't speak, but it still could look real

And my biggest complain: Lizard's appearance is too "smooth". They should've made the skin look more raspy and maybe added some small gritty details
