Those were my exact thoughts too prior to Silver Linings. im open minded now. I still haven't seen Limitless but I will soon.

Lawrence was great in Winter's Bone. Nominated for an oscar at age 20.
Still don't think she would be a good Amazon though. |

Apparently Cooper is really good in Place Beyond the Pines.
Cooper and Lawrence reunion as Steve Trevor and Wondie? |

Sounds good but they have 2 more movies to be released over the next year, where they're together. So who knows how many they'll want to do together. I think if the studio locks in Bradley it'll be for a superhero role and not for Steve Trevor.

Yeah, I don't want to see Cooper wasted on a character no one cares about. Save him for Flash or another superhero character.

That's why they call it acting buddy. Lawrence would just need to tone up that body and dye that hair black and I'm sure she would be fine as WW. Same thing Wilde or Blunt would have to do as well. |

Agreed. WB's would want Cooper for a hero role like Flash or maybe even a villian like Lex Luthor possibly. |

Flash or Green Lantern for Bradley. Luthor is possible but I prefer that he plays the hero.

You know its pretty funny with Cooper. I remember when it was announced that he was in contention for GL. Posters were swearing up and down how that was a horrible choice because of the past characters he played.
Just goes to show how short sighted fans are when the actor hasn't played a similar role to the superhero they are auditioning for. |

I never wanted him for GL. He would better as Flash or Lex Luthor. He plays good douchebags, even though Barry Flash isn't really a d-bag, but Wally can be at times. |

Barry shouldn't be a douchebag. Hal can be the pain in the ass, I want Barry to be liked by everyone, even when he's showing his sense of humor. Hal is the type of personality that would annoy Bruce, Diana and Clark at times because he's so cocky. I think Bradley Cooper would be great at that. He's already done it!
And Wally shouldn't go near this movie. Luthor is a good choice too though. It's inspired. Not saying I wouldn't mind him as Flash, because he can play characters that aren't d-bags. But I can't get Gosling out of my head as Barry Allen.

Cant see Theron in the role. She's too old anyway.
If Jake Gyllenhaal plays any superhero, it's a guarantee that I wont see that movie. JL I would have to make an exception, but solo? Ill never buy a ticket.

He's all horrible.
WW doesn't, no, but she should be 27 to 34ish. Theron will be 40 pretty much by the time this happens. And what if they want to launch a solo film after? An early 40s Wonder Woman trying to do some origin story? And then a mid 40s WW in a Justice League sequel? Don't think so. WB wont go for that. She also looks her age. Lois Lane is not Wonder Woman. Will Lois be fighting in a team that requires her to be built for multiple movies? Lois is irrelevant.

Not saying Theron is a bad choice for the character. If this movie was made when she was 30 or early 30s at the time of filming, I would be OK with it. Just not now.
LMAO ur killing me here, ur naming actors I absolutely cant stand. There's not many I don't like but Jake Gyllenhaal and especially Kiera Knightley I really hate. She's also waaaaaaay too skinny for this role. There's no way a woman of her build would be able to pack on muscle in order to look like an amazon. And she's just not a fit with her personality she always has in movies. Emily Blunt (with some training, which she's been doing lately), Adrianne Palicki, Gina Carano (horrible choice cuz of her acting but her look is what they need to be after), Lynn Collins. These are the names that should be looked at for the character. Knightley is the last I would cast.

I find her really annoying lol! I dont know a single person in my life, who ive met in person, who likes her as an actress.
Lmao Blunt really? Have you seen Looper? Obviously u dont know what she's capable of in terms of serious acting if ur comparing her to Reese Witherspoon.

Palicki should take the role. She has GI Joe's success behind her, and proves she can look amazing & kick-ass as a part of an action team. Her failed pilot never aired unlike Reynolds' movie which bombed in front of everyone. Theyre both in the same boat in terms of being good choices but thrown into a bad situation with horrible writing and costumes. But Palicki has more of the advantage to get called back. Give her a makeover for the suit and direction, and she's absolutely fit for the character. She's a part of the competition now, so it wont happen. Even if she's a "Nolan-girl".
