Weird how there are no eye holes on Zod's helmet like we've seen in the viral video. Unless there's a detachable face visor.

Not going to lie, the Koto statue looks terrible.

The Play Arts figures look nice but for $80-90 a pop plus shipping? I might as well save the dough and put it towards a superior figure in Hot Toys.

The kai superman face sculpt is off and there is no texture and accesories. Pitty i wish they had added that. I like the Zod but i wish that armor was removeable and they included a shaved face head. Also pretty pricey for a 6-8". I wonder if figma, revoltech or those other japanese companies will release something. Also looking forward to seeing what HT does. So far i am not digging the mattel line but that could change. 3 movies total so i'm going to pace myself. Personally i wish i had waited on TDK stuff as there were some good options with the TDKR release.

Saw two of the Lego sets yesterday at my Walmart. Those Play Arts figures blow the Movie Master figures away even though they are more money they seem worth it. I too am waiting to see what Hot Toys will be bringing to the table. I'm pretty sure it will be awesome though.

The Movie Masters are already out in some parts of the world, but realistically around here, expect the Wal-Marts or Targets to start putting them on the shelf in about a week from now. If not, the originally scheduled release is May 1st, so no later than then!

All I know is, my money will be takin!

Soooooo.... I just called my favorite Comic Book store in San Antonio Heroes and Fantasies (shameless plug) and they told me that they have all the MOS toys on their shelves with Movie Masters on order to hit in a week or so. Plus they always get the statues so I'm going to be broke to say the least. Because I will be getting the movie masters MOS and Hot Toys when they land. Plus that Koto is looking quite good too. lol I've never heard of them so I wait till I see what it looks like in person. I know and trust Hot Toys so I can blindly say I'm going to purchase unless they just majorly F***ed up.

I'm guessing around May. I got mine in the mail yesterday and they are nice though the sculpt isn't anything like the preview pics that were released. Really nice addition to my collection. Being a banker I look forward to getting the bank vault statue and displaying it in my office.

^ I guess the dome can detach too, or different ranks have different versions, or different helmets for different tasks.

Still, you can see the more Geiger-ish version in the trailer, on the guards in the 'You think your son is safe?" shot.

Well, some of the helmets worn by astronauts are clear, but have a flip down tinted reflective gold screen. I suspect this will be something alone those lines.

Considering how Synder & co., talked about the "realistic" nature of MOS, it stand to reason that Zod & co will be wearing space helmet with gold (as in the cast Earthly astronauts) coated visor that flip over the actual helmet. The UV & infrared radiation in space is harmful outside AND inside the spacecraft, at least for mere mortals.

Just how it will play out in MOS when these Kryptonians fly in their spacecraft into our region of space remain to see. Superman definitely does not have any problem with exposure to the space.

I'm wondering if they might hold off on a Zod earth reveal and have him in the helmet for a while

Just picked up a mini Man of Steel Lego set today at Wal-Mart. Anxiously awaiting the MM figures!

Cool which one? Have we seen all the lego sets revealed yet? There doesn't seem to be one big one, a Black Zero set would've been great.

I snagged the mini-one running at $20 while they had a Black-Zero bigger set marked at $35.
