Fully respect your opinion Zim, i honestly hope medicom makes a 6" version of Superman like they did with Batman, that looks better than any figure Mattel can make.

Is there just no Movie Masters in CA? Seemed to recall only 1 person in socal that picked some up. Otherwise, I have not seen 1 figure at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, nor Toys R Us...yet.

Randy Travis! Had no thought of that until you brought it up and now it's all I see. Man I am laughing so hard over here thinking of Randy Travis as Zod in Man of Steel!

I get a new pair every two years, and I'll be due for some new ones come next February. Hopefully they will sell them where I get my glasses.

Edit: Well scratch that idea of finding them where I get my glasses. I guess I will just have to order them online and hope that they will look decent on my face. Who knows, they might not even be available by the time I'm ready for new ones. I mean, I guess I could just by the frames and hold on to them until it's time for new lenses. I dunno.

My question is, will be authentic to the style in the film? What I mean, I hope they're not tacky and filled with "modern" patterns and colors. I'd much rather something simple and classic, like what Clark actually wears.

I'll take a look at them first and if I like the design then I'm sold...

Just got a new prescription the other day, so perfect timing. Of course they won't fit my face, though.

Tricky to guess, but It seems like they are putting out 2 different styles, so take that however you'd like. I think the best part is that this company donates a pair of glasses to the needy for every pair that is sold, or a portion of the proceeds goes to charity.

Yeah, they haven't released a picture of the glasses yet. I believe they will on or around May 21st.

If anyone was wondering ... the 12 foot Man of Steel merchandise run in front of the electronics departments has finally shown up ... I assume everywhere. They should be set out sometime next week before tickets go on sale next Saturday, so will get some prime space advertising.

Otherwise, the trailer has been playing several times an hour ... and we have standees of Superman advertising tickets and what not already.

BTW, the suit does show yellow on the standee, but it's slightly darker than what we've seen in the recent trailers & tv spots.

I might have to pick up a t-shirt & poster. (I don't collect the figures)
