I confess that I called up my homegirl, and when she answered I said, "I loooooooooove youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. And I bet you didn't know that gurlllllllllll."

She finished the rest of the song and told me that she was Rick James. Then she called me a *****, thus cementing that she's my favorite girl.

Writing queries is the worst part of the novel-creating process.

I confess, sometimes when I'm angry, I don't look angry, I'm rather cold at certain moments of anger, like right now

Do you need a sweater, jacket, or a coat?

The dissolution of the friendship with the person who had been my best friend since childhood was not as painful as I anticipated. It is liberating not being shackled to a (metaphorical) corpse.

Update: I am also feeling somewhat underwhelmed with the Man of Steel trailer. While my feelings will change when I see the film, thus far, the only part of the film I am excited about is Amy Adams.

What is "writing queries"? I don't understand.

EDIT: I looked it up. Kind of like a one page pitch for yourself and your book, if I understand it correctly.

Correct. Advertising the book to potential literary agencies. It's painful, haha.

Have you checked out this website? I read that entire page, it's really interesting.

Also, what's your novel about?

I confess I went on a first date that apparently I thought went much better than the girl did. Feeling kinda disappointed.

I like pain, it makes me sure I can feel
I can't feel minor flesh wounds these days

I thought you were going to say you like pain for other reasons. The weird kind. Like me.

That's my confession.

Also, not being able to feel minor flesh wounds is normal. I often find cuts on my arm/hands and have no recollection of how or when it happened.

I confess that whenever I go to a 7-11 or wherever you buy fountain drinks from the dispensers, I never get the first cup or glass, I always get the one following it, same with lids, always grab the bottom ones.

I do that too. Even with shopping with groceries I take the one behind.

I'm taking a wild guess here, but I imagine some of your free time is spent in the company of a woman who owns lots of whips.

10 years ago and more, they caused a bit of a grief
Not feeling them any more does cause some concern

Nope, no way, self torture and pain allowed in like that is unaccepted
Hookers are no go, adultery is an absolute no no

Was that not among the things you discussed last week?
