I'm not worried. A few Avenger fans were nitpicking about Hulk's appearance when the first stills were released.

That shot of Superman might be the greatest in history. And I don't even do the overhyping thing anymore.

That is the boy born Kal-El of Krypton and raised Clark Kent of Earth.

"It's all emotional kryptonite"

Love the sound of that quote! Same with Cavill's "emotional frailties" quote.

When people say that Superman is boring cause he is so powerful, well while he is physically powerful, he is still raised as a human with strong emotional sensibilities. His love and trust for others are both great virtues and sometimes a weakness. It's easily exploitable. That's why the non powered Luthor can be Superman's – the most powered hero – biggest and most important enemy.

I wonder why the CGI is noticeable here as oppose to the trailer...

You mean the head shot? Because the parts where practical and CGI merge become more and more blatant in stills.

Also, if these are production stills, it's likely that they're taken from a different camera/photographer than the actual cinema camera they're doing principle and even VFX elements off of. So this Zod could be a pretty rudimentary composite compared to how it will look in the actual film. Even all the other stills have rather flat exposure/color/timing settings compared to what we'll probably see on screen. So we can't really judge accurately buy these when it comes to some things.

Yep. The upper section of suit appears very practical in the trailer but the CGI can be identified on this still.

Oh well, I doubt it'll be a problem in motion.

h.
its a perfect comicbook pose in a liveaction movie with bright daytime lighting which gives us every detail possible. its not overhyped. its a fantastic promo shot for a summer movie.

Looks like Goyer is implying that it is connected to TDK series, but apparently, in a subtle manner.

Ok guys, I'm PM'ed out for the night, lol. I trust those who've gotten them to pay it forward. I'm going to bed.

Indeed, especially since the means that they had gone about doing this effect was just by having Shannon wear a mo-cap suit.

I typed it out.

Quote:
Will Man of Steel drop references to Justice League colleagues such as Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter, and perhaps extend into the realm of Nolan's Batman trilogy? "I would love to tell you yes or no, but I think it's going to be more exciting for people to keep a beady eye out and find what they can find," says Goyer. In other words, fans should bring along their X-ray vision.

Then, you can either decide this version isn't for you and stop watching. OR you can decide to enjoy it for what it is - an elseworlds tale.

'In Elseworlds, super-heroes are taken from their usual settings and put into strange times and places - some that have existed, and others that can't, couldn't or shouldn't exist. The result is stories that make characters who are as familiar as yesterday seem as fresh as tomorrow.'

I got ya. But you're the last one this time. For serious. And you're welcome.

EDIT: Well I can't leave out hopeful. But now I'm really done.
