All Star Trek 2009 did was to turn Trek Into Star Wars. The Inevitable third film
In alternate universe will be test. Will they continue trying to copy Star Wars
or will they do something that can also appeal to longtime trek fans.

Star Trek without being turned Into Star Wars Is not bigger than say SUperman,
Batman,Spider-man and X-Men.

Die Another Day was a huge box office sucess adjusted for inflation It's domestic gross Is better than the adjusted domestic gross of casino Royale or QoS.

For those saying a reboot saved bond Moonraker Is exbit against that.A good
bond film more down to earth was all that was needed after It.

If X-Men Days of future does similar business as the adjusted domestic take of
X2 and X-Men the last Stand and gets close to RT score of X2 or first Class or higher that's proof there Is still life In X-Men series.

It'd be good to see her in a comedy. The woman is actually funny, I remember wetting myself when I watched her Razzie acceptance speech.
Hopefully she can get it to happen. Unfortunately, she has always had a hard time getting films to be made. Say what you will about her, I've always respected that she fought to get roles that she wouldn't have been considered for... and when she couldn't get them, she tried to produce them herself.

Many people always say she has such bad taste in picking movies... HELLO!!! You think she's being offered any roles in period pieces, historical fiction, or all those mixed race romantic comedies (of which there are none)? NOPE.

Halle got lucky with The Call as one of the producers had a deal with Sony before filming even began. A wide release was guaranteed and Sony knew how to market it.

Halle is going full indie with 'Mother'. She clearly has an audience as The Call made $51 million in the US. Without distribution 'Mother' will likely just follow 'Frankie and Alice' and 'Dark Tide' into nowhere, but at least she's trying.

And both those films were incredibly well-received; both get 95 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes.

For some reason, the gap in Bond movies feels like it was huge before Casino Royale though I checked and it was just four years after Die Another Day.

Star Trek 11 came after a seven-year break for the series and revived a dying franchise. Arguably, Bond could also have been on the way out when Die Another Die reached the heights (or depths) of absurdity.
The thing is not only that Star Trek 11 and Casino Royale became the highest-grossing film of their series but if you adjust the numbers, they still outgrossed most of the previously released movies from their series.

We can't say that to The Amazing Spider-Man, whether you adjust the numbers or not, its still the lowest grossing Spider-Man film.

this gives me something to look forward to. I admire Halle evenmore so for doing that in her condition. Im sure she didnt wanna disappoint her fans. She is not my first choice for a perfect Storm but I appreciate what she has done for the character.

Well that is certainly nice to know. Looks like this time around Halle really wanted to get the character right. Even allowing herself to be lifted up on harnesses whilst pregnant. That's called dedication. I doubt many other actresses would do the same if they were in her shoes.

Now that Halle really wants to hit it out of the park this time I hope the writing is up to scratch. Hope they get the character right this time so that we can finally watch Storm on screen.

Great news then!

Cant wait to see some flying mutants shining more than ever on this movie. With the right effects and sequence, it would be so special and epic.

lets see if the teaser trailer gives us a tease of any flying mutant, if not the full trailer will show it. Cant wait!

That's good to hear from Hugh! Good job they shot all her scenes early.

I'm not worried about Storm's action being reduced now.

Halle managed to do some of her own stunts for this film which is good. Because we know how the woman likes to do her own stunts.

I remember in an interview for X3 she said something about earning her salary, all $15 million of it.

Well, we expect good flying scenes these days. It was one of the things I liked about Man of Steel, especially that little moment when he flew across the African savannah and the giraffes and zebras scattered as he zoomed past!

I'm expecting top-notch FX from this film, given that it has had a good length of time for pre-production, production and post-production. No one can say DoFP has been 'rushed.'

I'm also looking forward to The Wolverine. A more grounded, character-oriented piece will be a welcome change of pace after the planet-destroying antics in Star Trek, Man of Steel and Pacific Rim.

I expect great effects this time too, but Id lie if I have my worries regarding how epic Storm and Rogue will be or not.

I love Man of steel flying sequences and all different shots. A really great job, imo. And I know its normal that Superman gets all that detail, since its his solo movie, but at the same time I believe Storm and Rogue deserve that level of treatment, even if their screentime on the action sequences are small or about 2 minutes at most.

Those 2 minutes really could be glorious with the right director and crew. The question is if Singer and crew will deliver with them this time or not.

Glad to hear Halle's done some wirework. I do expect more from the flying this time around. Even First Class improved on the flying scenes from the trilogy.

I hope Storm flies like a bird in the movie and throw some electricity balls when she's up there.

Good news! I don't need to see a ton of flying and soaring around but it would be nice if for one scene she took to the skies and really unleashed some fury.

It will be interesting to see how they split screen time for these characters in that case

It's going to be very interesting!! I think I heard Hugh mention 6 weeks also! But seeing how varied its it it'll be interesting to see how roles are divided!

Wasn't Paquin like there for a week or two?! Especially a she was busy with true blood!
