It just seemed like there was a lot of nit-picking for the sake of nit-picking (which you readily admitted to), and lambasting one film for doing one thing and giving a free pass to another for the exact thing. Funny thing is you complimented Stryker's base, when I thought it looked like even the walls looked like styrofoam.

I had my problems with FC, I would count the ways but I'm tired. The constant jumping around countries was a mess. People might say it gives it an epic feel. I think it makes the narrative indecisive. But that's more to do with the script. But I agree with psylockolussus, the establishing shots were good. The tracking shot of Magneto walking towards that bar in Argentina was beautiful.
Yes, it is all nitpicking... but I love it haha.

It's also funny you mention me mentioning (haha) Stryker's base. In the X2.5 DVD, you actually see Guy Dyas showing that it is made of foam. And in the film I was impressed that it looked like rock haha. Go figure!

The jetsetting in FC was cool in the beginning, but yeah that super fast trip to Russia was pretty hilarious.

That is a shame I wish everyone involved in making X2 was back for DOFP. Including the two young writers.

That constant back and forth between the American and Russian troops at the final fight was painful to watch.

Funny things is I think they might've used the same set for Danger Room and Alcatraz. And it was (or part of it was) an actual outdoor set. This was on Marine Drive closer to the Fraser river.

The trip to Russia was great sans the long shot of the Russian general in from of the green screen Russia.

I'm really curious to see how good the script is.

If this film ends up as a great movie then its going to be Simon Kinberg's script/work to date.

And any word on Jane Goldman rewriting the script?

That's just what I call it because I bought the one that comes as a set with the X1.5 DVD. Am I the only one that calls it that??

Robert J ‏@this_rob 6h
Filming X-Men beside our building. We still don't know who's in the car. http://instagram.com/p/abQHftpk6J/

seems like a modern car to me... but I guess its a 70's scene

I'm still curious about that "secret project" Singer was working on with them.

In jack the giant slayer interviews he did say something about a certain sorta project he wanted to do at some point, and I think its an odd choice for singer

at the end of this video after he talks about Xmen

Hmm that car is in good condition. I thought the future was like bad BAD, with the whole apocalyptic scenario shenanigans, like in Wolverine and the X-men.

I bet you it's for a totally unrelated commercial and not X-men

I'm 90% sure it has nothing to do with X-Men.

Who knows if that car will transform into a Sentinel but that would be odd.

Ugh I hope not. I don't want 'transformer' Sentinels.

Why do we have no insiders on something this huge? I swear almost every scene in TDKR was caught on camera.
