Costume and hair departments must be having fun with the 70s setting.

i think him in thay picture with wolverine shows he is hidin his beastly form

It may not be what you want but its depth and story, bein a mutant and how they feel and seen, plus it will be the difference between mystique And beast, and I wouldn't be surprised if we got a similar scene like in FC where raven asks to see the real hank

Maybe this is an alternate timeline where the Mystique cure worked?

Singer did say something about exploring choices.

Dinklage's character looks promising with that outfit!

This might be a silly question, but does anyone think his being a little person will play into the movie itself at all or will even be addressed? I can't think of a movie where a little person was used for anything other than really just comedic relief and I wouldn't like to see that happen at all to his character in this.

Possibly. I think it's interesting that someone of Dinklage's stature is responsible for towering sentinels.

The only example I know of:
Tyrion isn't played for comedy. He gets made fun of, sure, but he is really one of the most cunning characters on Game of Thrones.

yeah I was going to mention that, he's the 'imp' as they say which in that time is looked upon as a deformity or whatever. but the character itself is not to be taken lightly. But I don't want the character in this to be scorned by mutants for being a little person (or something like that) and then that's why he's out to build sentinals and what not, just treat him as a normal character don't build a storyline for him based around the fact that he's a little person scorned.

Daniel Cudmore said on his twitter that he is done filming.

Boo Boo Stewart ended filming a while ago.

Speculation: I think Colossus and Warparth are only in the "future" scenes AND their roles are not that big...compared to others.

It makes perfect sense since the bulk/majority of the movie is going to take place in the seventies.

Colossus screen time must indeed be small

Jordan Lawhorn is also a writer I believe. At least that is what it says on imdb. I'll keep checking.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5278435/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

Edit: He's acted in a few short movies. Mayhaps he's playing a minor character in DOFP and just so happens to be either Dan or Bryan's friend or both.

I think it's a nice change of pace from the previous films when they were told to Hurry the F up LOL which consequently caused the budget to balloon.

That was the only case for X3/First Class.

I think X1/X2/Origins/Wolverine had all that time to film scenes which I was surprised why Origins looked so cheap when it was released.

X-Men started filming In september of 1999 and wraped In february of 2000

X2 started filming In June of 2002 and wraped In December of 2002

Bryan Singer on both those film had to finish film 4 months after wrapping.

Origins and the Wolverine are only films that weren't rushed before DOFP.

Just because they were done filming 4 months before the release date, it doesn't mean its already rushed. X2's script had a lot of revisions and they had 6 to 7 months to film all of the scenes.

You have to consider that first X-men film had its release date moved up by Fox from Christmas to Summer of that same year. Imagine the enormous pressure Bryan was under especially considering this would be his first big budget effects-heavy movie.
