I can imagine, I was lurking mostly on the Batforums during WB's announcement that Bale would be Batman. (that was around late 03 i think) until i got the urge to sign up a couple years later. I did enjoy the hype and build leading up to what would be SR and i can still remember some really vocal fans for Cavil as Superman before Routh was announced and me laughing it off as fanboys just wanting another pretty boy nobody who looked the part.

How wrong I was.

I'm honestly embarrassed about how I was in 2003. I was just shy of 19 years old when I joined and I was a complete idiot on all levels. I'd say 65% of my posts were juvenile and just plain foolish. It took me a long time to become the awesome ***** that I am.

September 2nd is my ten year anniversary. I vividly remember the 2005/2006 Superman Returns days. I met a lot of cool people here.

Yep. It's getting fun in the Man of Steel forum again. It was depressing for awhile.

I looked at these arts again, indeed you're right - they're really manip of other artist's works. Nevertheless, they're very nice.

I'd be quite surprised if the "24 hours" was anything other than a line from the movie that happened to be featured in the advert.

Okay, seriously just realised how illogical it is to think the '24 hrs' line means we're getting something tonight.

It's a TV Spot... it's still playing today... and still saying 24hrs... and it'll still be saying that every time it's seen on TV from here on...

Personally, I think "24 hours" is just a dialogue from the movie and not actually a timeframe for the next message. But as a fan, it would be awesome if there is a follow-up.

Most probably though, the next new bit of footage will be the trailer tomorrow.

If they had planned a follow up message from Zod, it might not be a great idea while this stuff in Boston is going on.

Honestly, not much. But I can see people overreacting about it and making a big deal.

Have you not been watching the news? Go to cnn.com or any news channel you like and you'll see what's going on.

I'm trying not to mention the tragedy in here because I feel it will derail the thread.

After reading ISEESPIDEY's comment, decided to delete my "angry tweets found" comment.

No need to derail this thread.

Same here. Honestly it is healthy to have places without current event news that can be depressing.

the Zod teaser is a bit spooky now, considering it came out the day before the Boston Marathon tragedy.

I really hope that it's not some idiot MOS fan taking the teaser a bit toooooooooooo far and causing the incident........
