Weirdly out of all the great things in the trailer my favourite part was just seeing Cavill smile while in the interrogation room because in that moment he looked more like Supes than ever before.

Also, Krypto-Kraken? I love this term! I henceforth dub the giant robot "Krypto-Kraken!!" (Can I do that? Do I have the authority? Probably not, but a great name for the creature non the less Bren.)

So many feels...

This trailer was an emotional rollercoaster that literally ends with a punch to the face!

There is a lot of star power in this movie so it was great to see Cavill deliver his lines charismaticly and hold his own with the rest of the big name actors.

And the scenes with Adams and Cavill together... Whoa!!! The chemistry was soooo much more than I thought it would be. I was acctually blushing watching that scene in the interrogation room.

"It's not an S. On my homeworld, it stands for hope."

"Well here, it's an S"

They both smile....Classic

There's lots of reasons I like that scene - Lois's constant grin, Cavill's boyish smile and manner, his calm and friendly responses, the explanation of the 'S' on his chest. There's clearly chemistry between them and the whole exchange has a flirtatious vibe to it, which - when you think about it - is totally at odds with the reality of the situation (a reporter is interviewing an alien in some kind of military stronghold, whilst being tensely watched through a 2-way mirror by personnel). It's an interesting scene because you could stick the two of them in a cafe dressed in normal clothes and the exchange would be just as relaxed; they are so invested in their interaction it's like they have forgotten where they are.

Cavill's demeanour is great here too. He's one of the most powerful beings in existence, but he couldn't be any more down to earth in that scene if he tried - which is 100% Superman to me; friendly, charming, no ego, and most importantly, likeable.
This. All of this. So many great moments, all of which have been mentioned but this was my favorite of all my favorite moments in the trailer.

1. The music. If it was able to talk it would be yelling SUPERMAN and HOPE at the top of it's lungs.

2. The Krypton scenes. They look incredible, Crowe is going to be remarkable. "How?"

3. Superman and Lois dialogue.

4. THE PART WHERE EVERYTHING IN THIS MOVIE LOOKS AWESOME

Oh my Zod, it feels like such an amazing chemistry between Amy and Henry in that scene. I hope this flirt between them goes on for a while.

From what I've seen so far, Kevin Costner has nailed that role. This was my favorite moment of the trailer as well.

Everytime I watch this, the more and more and more I'm impressed with Henry Cavill. Man, the dude is the total package. Not only does he have the posture, stature, build and presence to pull off a Superman not to be takin lightly by any means, he also has that Super-charm that seeps right out of his veins (the way Cavill and Adams flirt with their eyes over one another in that scene is nothing sort of FANTASTIC.)

He looks so kind, sincere and gentle in a delicate situation with Lois Lane and so in control and DEAD SERIOUS leading his men on the oil-rig. Also, his voice. I always viewed Superman's voice to be VERY important as to how he should be portrayed.

Cavill's voice has the tone that when he walks into a room, people take notice, turn their heads, listen and respect each word that would come out of his mouth. A larger than life vibe that can be trusted. THAT'S what we need in our Superman, one that doesn't sound afraid to take control in a strong and powerful tone.

HC is going to fill the theater with charisma and pizazz, it's written all over him and GRADE-A actors and actress's like Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Michael Shannon are only going to bring more of that potential out of him.

As for my favorite parts, that's like asking which children do you love more, haha.

I thought the opening scene was emotional as it comes. That's seems to be the overall execution of this movie. EMOTION.

"He'll be an outcast. They will kill him."
"How? He'll be a God to them...."

"You're the answer son. You're the answer to "are we alone in the universe."
"Can't I just keep pretending I'm your son?"
"You ARE my son."

Those two scenes string along the chord of the heart. So deep in connection to the kindness of ones heart who has ever had love of family.

"You think your son is safe?"

The way Zod's eyes are dilated truly is terrifying. People say Superman is too powerful, but Michael Shannon's Zod is so creepy and eerie, that the struggle for Superman is TOP NOTCH.

Also, I'm a sucker for the Fleisher films, so I connected that mega-beam to the Fleisher films with Superman standing in the middle with craziness happening around him with his fist in the air and then flying up right into the core of the beast. That right there shows how badass of a Superman we're dealing with! Lovin' it.

Yeah, as old-fashioned as they are, I still like the Fliescher cartoons best. It's like Superman in the real world in terms of physics.
