lets please save that for Norman Osborn...

Electro is a great villain, but not on a personal level... and he shouldn't be a better villain than the Green Goblin, not for a C-lister

Why not? That's what cinema has the power to do; to elevate characters through adaptions. Of course, Norman should have the most priority but there's a great opportunity to create something substantial.

... because his biggest and best villains should always STAY his biggest and best villains?

Norman Osborn is "The Joker" of the spider-man mythos.... he's his arch enemy.. shouldn't he be portrayed as the best villain?

Electro is a "fun" and deadly villain, but he's no mastermind. he's a criminal given great power, and abuses it for his own personal gain. That's how he should stay.
He's not arch-nemesis material, nor should he ever be. (it'd be like making clay face as great as a villain as Ras al goul)

completely forgot about Goblin lol. yeah that'll prob be the masterpiece of the trilogy... Electro still looks like it could be pretty damn good tho

And also, it looks like we'll be getting a pretty substantial look into Dillon's personal life, and I'm not sure how much of that development we'll get with Norman. He may end up being the big-bad, bad and evil godfather of everything through and through. Which obviously is awesome, but not on the personal level, That's where I think this character (Dillon/Electro) may shine

And I originally meant getting our 'Joker' as in a great, albeit controversial choice, actor delivering an incredible, borderline incendiary performance... And depending on the writing (if it's up to snuff) I think Jamie could really deliver it. I'm really curious to see how deeply the writing allows to go into this character, and if the writing allows for it, how far Jamie allows himself to get into it

Edit: of course GG should remain spideys biggest and baddest villain, and the biggest of this trilogy. But that doesn't mean that Electro can't be the standout

He will definately one of the unique villans adapted on-screen though.

I don't know about you, but did anyone really feel that bad for Connors? in all honesty he sounded like a megalomaniac as if he were Doc Ock more so than Curt Connors, which is ironic considering they essentially gave Ock the emotion meant for Connors...

hopefully Connors remains a reoccurring character... and we get to actually see some great scene with him and his family eventually.
I had zero concern or empathy for Connors...because he was developed that bad. Of course, TAS-M is an origin film, but you'd think a villain in an origin film would've still been developed enough with the idea that the first film is only part of the beginning of Spider-Man, so it didn't technically have to be a true origin film.

it seems that they will develop Max motivations more than Connors, i hope Marc and the crew learned for their mistakes

God , now that i saw Spectacular Spider-man "Interactions" i hope that this movie resembles that

I know, I really like that picture of Electro...definitely makes it seem like those veins will be appearing in a brighter color than his skin. As I mentioned earlier, he could have a gnarly look like Solomon Grundy in Arkham City which is totally fine by me. A more grey tone to his skin with bright blue veins(or yellow, I wish) would look good.

I think it just went right over your head.

I was talking about me, who others view as someone who supposedly hated everything about TAS-M when that's not fact.

I know. That's partly the joke. That's why I added both the roll eyes and sarcasm smiley.

Really? A teaser poster shouldn't be released until after they're done filming, which is months from now.

Also, a plaque is dedicated to a Thomas Warren at Ravencroft Institute, as shown here:

Very interesting. That could be Miles Warren's father or something.
