With such quality, damn, I prefer this suit to the first film. Even if I consider the first suit awesome, this keeps all of his good qualities (texture, colours, grid, and logo), and ditches the bad things (strips, strange pattern). Also, it improves the eyes, and they look GREAT.

Each day I'm more and more excited

Oh well I won't be checking filming out this week but it's still light out on the East Coast, I assume they're still persisting.

I like the sequel suit better. Looks like classic Spidey but still looks pretty different from the Raimi suit.

What? The first suit was way more complicated than this.

I don't know where it originally came from, but I first read about that on cinemablend.

I did like the ASM suit, but loving this one even more. The closest to classic spidey and we have ever gotten.

Well great, and the risk worked. Spidey has been officially rebooted and no one is confusing the two franchises like they were with Hulk.

So whats the problem with you know....being, what, I don't know....faithful to the comics now that there will be no confusion? I don't get your point here at all. The risk paid off. They're going to change the costume around for making more toys anyway (like all superhero movies do now), so might as well go back to the roots, albiet remix it a little.

Its a great balance of the original and the new. I don't see how its bad to be faithful. Suddenly its bad because its safe? Come on now. Its just Spider-Man looking like...I dunno...Spider-Man. In no reality is that bad. He's just one of those superheroes you don't need to change (although I did like reboot suit) because he's just damn iconic.

I personally think Anno constantly needs an angle to dislike something...

well that'd be an unfortunate joke i made that actually turned out to be serious explains his electro look though (he does look very eel like) and..... also means Rhino may be a mutation as well.. possibly confirming cross species genetics as a theme of this series

Doesn't need to be said anymore.

When the 3rd movie comes along with changes, we'll be hearing praises for this suit. Unless they don't change a thing.

Yeah might be best looking live-action Spidey suit I've ever seen.

Also regarding the eel theory...

E L E C T R O.

E E L

Mind. Blown.

I take back what I said back in February comparing it to the Raimi costume. This has enough distinguished features to be a separate entity. And it's rad!

To anyone who thinks the electric eels thing is stupid, go watch Spectacular Spider-Man.

Yep, they definitely seem to be taking cues from TSSM. I'm liking what I'm seeing.

Well, Eel DNA, in a movie that has genetic tempering as a theme makes more sense, then simply getting hit by lightning and getting super powers from it.

to be fair, he wasn't "part eel" on the SSM, he just got their goo on him. This electro design, does look a little "eel like" it explains his look when not lit up as well.... I'm feeling pretty confident that he's been now genetically altered ala spidey and lizard... and has Eel DNA in him (basically a human eel)

that is a bit of a different (and original) take on electro

You know, if that rumor is true..and seeing as how they've gone on to correct a few things from the last rumor. You know what that means?

Spoiler!!! Click to Read!:
Some type of Goblin suit will appear and Gwen will die. If this is true, I'm wishing I didn't spoil it for myself already...
