I always suspected it was Ben Reilly or that Miles kid. As for the red of the mask. It's all the same material obviously it's his head so it's getting hit with light the most while his chest gets hit with more shadow.

I still wish Spidey was a big guy like in Spider-man 1. Also this film doesn't need a subtitle. If need be imagine a subtitle for the credits and stick one on the blu-ray you all will eventually buy.

Is that really it? It doesn't look like his head is getting hit with more light.

Agreed. I don't mind them just attaching 2.

Considering how that they seem to have long term plans from this series, beyond this trilogy, I think it's better if they stick with one main title for each potential set of films and just start with a new one afterwards.

For example, after ASM3, they could start with a new title, like, Spectacular Spider-Man.

Is the reason his torso/shoulders look so wide because of this white shell thing underneath the costume?

There had to have been some middle ground. Not just in fabric but in overall look of the costume. And yeah it resembled a baskeyball texture but it also looked strong, durable and grimy like New York, at least it looked like that to me.

Guess I'm one of the few guys that preferred that look.

Ugh, why oh why couldn't they put the new features on whatever material the first films suit was made out of.

I can sympathize with this. It look's like he's wearing a sneaker underneath and it makes his heel look HUGE.

I will admit the actual material used in ASM had a rugged look to it that felt more appropriate for the sorts of situations Pete finds himself in.

Would be interesting to see this design using that material.

I think having all of that texture would've made the costume look too busy and cluttered, especially if they were going back to traditional design. The old suit was much more streamlined in it's design (grid that barely resembled webbing, thin incomplete belt, thin strips on arms and legs, smaller eyes etc).

Still looks like there's no getting away from the boots...silver or no silver? doesn't ****ing matter. But how much of a difference did it make in the end?

I'm not a fan of the clunky silky looking boots, but I'm not worried b/c like you said, it didn't matter in the end. You won't see it in the movie. I don't remember seeing his silver shoes at all in TASM.

I don't know if you're up to your skinny jeans shenanigans again but you do add another excellent point why the first costume was great. It was skin tight and not full of creases like the new costume. The folds in his new boots are just too much IMO. Around the stomach area as well.

But also Mayo you're right. In the end it didn't really matter.

Well, I'm just hoping we see the costume in set pics that don't require the stunt rigging. Maybe it won't look as loose there. Or maybe we just need more ass shots.

I've gotta say, some of the set pics of the first suit make it look attrociously ugly. On screen, or in official pictures, it looked great to me. So this new suit is only gonna look better. And it's already gorgeous.
