Not sure where you guys are getting two from but Wikipedia has another 4 listed. "Buffet Froid", "Rôti", "Relevés" and Savoureux".

Judging by the synopsis and those pics, is Hannibal framing Will??

He may feel his own weird, twisted version of "friendship" toward him, but damn, he is such a poisonous influence.

Not yet. I don't even care anymore. They've killed almost all excitement I even have for this show anymore. It's quite sad actually. 2 weeks ago I was going nuts waiting for word. Now I'm just like "Come on Dexter, True Blood and Breaking Bad!" Like for real, I didn't even like the episode the other night that much. I feel like NBC being ***** like this is just sucking all the wind out of this show's sails.

Not for me. Amazon just posted the pre-order for the season (no release date yet) and it just got me jazzed for the Blu-Ray. Can't wait to own this.

There just no hype for this show anymore. It's great television, gets solid reviews, and yet there's no buzz about this "great new show". It's weird. Hardly anyone watches it. You'd think NBC would throw a few more promos for Hannibal on the air once in awhile. They can do SOMETHING to build more of an audience.

What makes me the most upset is that I think this EXACT show, this concept of the Hannibal story, would have EXCELLED on HBO. Throw in a little more cursing, a little more blood, and we would have a no-holds-barred version that wouldn't be bound to the shackles that come with network television. I bet it would be one of HBO's most watched shows ever. It's so visually stunning sometimes, has great acting, lots of twists/turns, and is based on an iconic character. I can't believe what going on with it right now.

I feel like NBC has already given up on it and just doesn't care anymore and is just gonna let it wither on the vine until the season ends and they officially announce its cancellation.

I think it would have ran just fine on FX or AMC as well. They like the dark and gritty too.

I'm fairly sure now that the show will be canceled. The fact that they are not announcing it yet is probably because they are afraid they will lose more viewers once they know that the show will not continue.

I think that SOMETHING would've been not airing it starting in April.

Yeah, excuse me while I roll my eyes at the "shackles of network television" bit. NBC has screwed the show in terms of marketing, not content. This show is as graphic as the material requires. It needs nothing more.

I feel HBO would've been ideal. Can you imagine this cast with a less episodic more serialized show and a Game of Thrones-like production value and cinematography? Ugh, I don't even like thinking about it really lol

It actually has really good production values and cinematography. It's a very visually artistic show (as befitting Hannibal Lecter), and it's also as graphically violent as it needs to be.

The biggest problems are A) the episodic "bizarre serial killer of the week" formula that's getting old, and B) the fact that it's on NBC.

Regarding the cinematography, I also feel it really stands out from the usual fair. Visually Hannibal is unique, and in my humble opinion a beautifully shot show.

One thing I was thinking about yesterday, is they should totally do a cookbook. The 'Hannibal Fine Cuisine Cookbook: Featuring Recipes From The Hit TV Series' or something similar. Show us how to make all those delicious looking meals featured, replacing the heavily implied human meat with pork, steak, veil, whatever they actually use during filming. I'd buy it!

(also I realized "hit TV series" is stretching it, but it sounds good)

THIS is what I mean by "shackles of network television", as well, and there are many examples as to why an HBO show can feel way more organic than a show on NBC. On a pay-cable network, this show wouldn't have to throw in those stupid, "dramatic" place markers for commercial breaks (literally 4 or 5 per episode). And does Hannibal need more blood/cursing/nudity? No, but who knows if the story would call for it at any point in the series run. It'd be nice to have the option.

And Sawyer is right, this show has been extremely graphic. However, most of the time, I catch myself thinking "Wow, I can't believe they got away with that on an NBC show" in reference to some extremely graphic shot, but on HBO, it would feel "just right" and those thoughts wouldn't cross my mind. It's just out of place on NBC in almost every way. It's a cinematic show that follows Parks & Recreation. I commend NBC for taking a chance on it, but man, they screwed up what could have been an even BETTER, more popular show.
