Why do we care about Modern Family? New spot?

maybe the fact Clark was such a loner growing up makes his connection to Lois stronger when he meets her.

There's something airing during it, related to MoS. Though we're not sure what. And I can't remember where this heads up originated from either.

wasn't the last TV spot just a condensed version of the prior trailer??

wouldn't be surprised if we got something similar this time......

It certainly looks like the dog he has around when he's a kid playing with a red cape. Maybe just a coincidence that flashbacks him to his childhood and his beloved dog. I love it's a stray.

Now, is Shelby his official name? Because that was the name of the dog in SR as well...

That would make his dog among the oldest canine in the world,if we assume that about 20+ years passed. Is that really possible?

Who is advertising a commercial tonight? Is it ABC? If so, it'll be more than a condensed version of what we've seen before. They never advertise commercials or first looks unless they're something new.

Holy crap, if that's the same dog who travelled with him then it's going to die at some point in the film. I can't see Clark taking the dog with him to the FoS

:'( noooooo

Shelby actually first appeared in A Superman for All Seasons, by Jeph Loeb. I don't recall if he was in prior Superman/Superboy comics.

So many contradictions in such a small post.

Well, my dog died 2 years ago and she was 16 years old. And I've heard about dogs dying at 20

Assuming Shelby is around when Clark is 9 (the young actor cast as clark is 9 years old), then it's still possible.

But, how did you all get confirmation that it's the same dog?

I thought it was a different breed of dogs.........the one from Clark's childhood and the one in Alaska.........

does anyone have a screenshot of the dog on the Kent farm?

I don't remember Shelby appearing in comics before Superman for All Seasons. The only other dog I know of in Superman comics is Krypto.

The dog from the childhood scene and the Alaska scene don't appear to be the same dog to me. I guess it could be but that would be a really old dog.
